Circa 1900 Leather Suitcase mounted on a new hand made mahogany stained custom stand.Several years ago we purchased 100's (hundreds) of leather suitcases from a chain of ladies clothing stores that they used as decoration in all of their stores. We sold many of the suitcases by themselves and after a while we found a very skilled carpenter who hand made about 20 custom stands fitted for the suitcases. This is the last stand and leather suitcase that has been in our house actually holding a television for the past 15 years. This custom made stand measures 25" X 18" X 18" in height. So the suitcase is a tad smaller than the measurements of the stand. Many uses around the house and Very Decorative.   « Less

Circa 1775 Chinese Export Mug/Tankard clobbered with beautiful blue and gold coloring. This is a very unusual mug with double strapped handles with a gilded splotching at the bottom of the handles, and also has a few butterflies in the decoration which are very colorful. SOLD--18TH Century Original Fireback with a armorial crest, coat of arms with lions that was purchased about 5 years ago from the Estate of Chef Boyardee on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the vicinity of St. Michaels and Oxford, Md. The location on the Chesapeake Bay. This estate actually built by the chef's son Mario BOIARDI. It is a Gorgeous 26,000 Square Foot Georgian on the Wye River. The name of the estate is Penderyn. Actually this gaudy mansion may have been a showcase but it was not a home. Actually it was strongly rumored that Michael Jackson was negotiating to purchase the $35 Million Estate. We have not been able confirm that Jacko bought the estate, but confidential sources we have heard sighted Mr. Jackson staying at the Inn at Perry Cabin. Other interested parties in purchasing this castle was Oprah, Mike Tyson, Shaquille Oneil, The Ferrari Corp. and on and on goes the dreamers. This fireback has been in our house since we purchased it. Since we are moving to smaller quarters we have decided to not take the fireback with us. It measures 30 1/4" wide X 34 1/4" In Height. This is definetely too heavy to ship by standard means. It would have to go by freight, pick-up or for us the deliver if it was in a 300 mile radius. It probably weighs about 300 lbs. The armorial crest consists of two lions on their hind feet with a knight's armor helmut in the middle with flower decoration over the top.   « Less

Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Punch Bowl measuring a UNBELIEVABLE 21" in Diameter. This is the largest Punch Bowl in Chinese Export Porcelain that Mimi's Antiques has ever owned or seen. I have heard stories of 21" punch bowls but this is a first for us. The quality is absolutely breathtaking. Wonderful panels of mandarin scenes inside and outside of this Fabulous Bowl. We have taken many pictures of this bowl for you to view. Additional images are available upon request. It has the greek key border that should date it to Circa 1820. The photography on this bowl,I had done by a professional. Any individual who is truly interested in this bowl, I can mail you a round of images taken by this professional. It is truly Breathtaking. The height or depth of this bowl is 8". This is probably the finest piece of rose mandarin that I have seen. No chips, cracks or Restoration of any kind.   « Less
