Very stylish Art Deco cocktail watch, dating from 1930s plus. Stamped "925" (sterling grade silver) to the rear of the shoulder. The face and shoulders are mounted with little paste faceted stones, and look as good as diamonds. Engraved pattern to the sides of the watch case. Watch appears to be working well, but I have not had it overhauled so can't guarantee it.Shoulders and face of watch measure 56.50 mm by 11 mm (that is - all the area covered with the stones). Actual watch case measures 24 mm by 11 mm. Made for a small wrist, it is about 47 mm long in total (5.3/4 inches). The clasp is a slide clasp with a flip-over safety catch. Excellent condition to case and bracelet. Great Deco item.   « Less

While these lights were originally produced just before the true Art Deco era, they would have nicely graced a home from 1920 to 1940 with authentic ease. The frame has a nice pewter finish. The vintage light pink crackle glass shades are also in great shape. Lovely pair of circa 1920 wall sconces. Mixed metals are being used here, with a brass backplate and white metal arm and shade holder. Interesting contrasts. The antique shades are very nice, and have an amber background and darker designs. Some wear and tear on the shade colors (as expected with old shades), but nothing terribly significant. These sconces have been completely rewired in our UL shop, with new sockets and all new original rayon twisty wire. This chandelier was made by Mid-West Mfn, Kansas City KS, from their "Chesterton" Series, circa 1938. Nice design for the more streamline design motif of the 1936 deco era. Sears Changed the name to "Mellow-Glow" for their 1938 Lightmaster Catalog. The chandelier has an old gold finish with nickel accents. Very striking. This fixture could be lengthened or shortened by adding/subtracting chain links. The chandelier has been totally rewired with high grade sockets and new central lead wire. Sockets are UL approved for up to 100 watts each. Please Note: incandescent bulbs no higher than 60 to 65 watts are recommended, due to the heat emitted from the higher wattages which can potentially damage old glass shades. If more light is necessary, energy efficient bulbs such as compact fluorescents or LED bulbs can be used. These emit more light with less heat. Measurements: •Height: 24” tall with the two chain links as shown. Can be shortened another inch by removing one of the links. •Spread: 19” diameter. Comes complete with shades and ready to hang.
