Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Punch Bowl of wonderful Quality and Great Condition with only the slightest of wear. This Bowl measures 15 3/4" in diameter and is 7 1/8" in height and depth. Wonderful Quality with a very nicely detailed greek key border. four quadrants of scenes on the inside of the bowl with a center scene only separated by another greek key border. The central scene in the middle bottom of the bowl has some minor wear but all in all the bowl has minimal wear for a large punch bowl surviving the past 200 years. The outside of this bowl has two large scenes of mandarins in a court yard scene adjoined by two cartouches of mandarins in scenes. All in all this bowl's workmanship is absolutely wonderful. This would make a beautiful setting in a room in the middle of a dining room table or on the side on a sideboard or a credenza. Additional images are available upon request. This is a Very Nice unusual Heart Shaped Sterling Silver open salt. It also has (3) Three Ball Feet and va heart shaped recess. The lighting makes the metal look gold in the photos but it is sterling with the markings of THE H.M. BROWN CO., STERLING. The diameter is 2 1/4". This is a Rare Open Salt made in Baltimore, Md. by Samuel Kirk. Kirk is one of America's Best Silversmiths. From 1861 to 1868 Samuel Kirk's sons worked at the firm and the name was S. KIRK & SONS. That allows this great open salt to be dated in the 1860's. It has a gold washed bowl. We are including a gold washed salt spoon with this Baltimore Salt. The design is a pumpkin and squash garden scene. The 11OZ mark indicated the old silver standard of 11 oz out of 12 troy ozs pure silver. The diameter is 2 1/2". Markings-S KIRK & SONS 11 OZ. Condition: Excellent, No Damage. A Excellent form. Recently a vast collection of salts came available and being from Baltimore, we became interested in purchasing some of these wonderful salts to add to our inventory of silver, paintings, and chinese export porcelain. Early 20th Century Stieff of Baltimore sterling repousse open salt. Very nice heavy cast. We are including also a stieff repousee baltimore rose salt spoon. The diameter of this salt is 2" and the height is 1 3/8". The length of the spoon is 1 7/8" The mark is STIEFF STERLING 12, down facing moon date code for 1927. The condition is Excellent with positively no damage. The rose pattern stieff spoon is very rare.   « Less

20TH Century Large Open Sterling Shell and a Cut Glass Open Salt with a square dip. This is two pieces with a cut glass liner insert. The silver markings are on the side and it appears to be a ram 925 Sterling. The height is 2" and the diameter is 1 3/4". Excellent Condition with the expected only damage is very minor wear on the very tips of the cut glass top corners. Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Cache Pot in Very Good Condition. This is one of two of these pots that I am listing individually on my web site and also as a lot of Two--Can't say a pair as their is a inch difference in height but both are the best. the famille rose enamels have the rose medallion and mandarin scenes.The decoration is of high quality with lots of detail and precisely painted. Excellent Condition and Excellent Quality. This one is 4 1/4" in diameter at the top opening and the measurement in height to the bottom foot is 3". It has the original feet on the base which would set onto a undertray that unfortunately is missing, which is usually the case. Good Condition. Their is a very,very tiny nick on the top rim and a very small amount of wear on this rim. Of course there is a hole in the bottom for water to drain. The inside is rough as it is not glazed and of course they would water their little flowers. These cache pots, planters, jardineers and bough pots in antique chinese export porcelain are hard to find in anywhere the good condition that this and the other one that we have listed on our website.   « Less
