Pair of unique and attractive regal-looking sconces...circa 1920's.  The frames are cast and come with a nice and mellow pewter finish.The frosted shades are in great condition, with only a couple of minor nicks where they go into the fitter...not seen after installation.  The shades are so different than the run-of-the-mill Edwardian types.  While it is obvious that they are pressed glass, that rim folding over is so unique.Electrical:  These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop.  Normal sockets for everyday medium base bulbs were installed in each sconce.  We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and still made up to ONE year ago.  So these switches by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this.The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case.  All mounting hardware will be supplied.Measurements:  10 3/8†tall by 6 1/4†wide (including shade), and projects into the room from the wall 7 3/4â€.  The backplate alone measures 10 3/8" tall x 4" wide.Price for the re-wired, complete pair:  $350.00 as shown.  Careful packing and shipping is $25.00 within the contiguous 48 states.Residents of Alaska, Hawaii and International Customers:  We quote shipping costs on a per order basis and invoice these costs separately.  If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one!

Original antique sconces, with an original antique brass finish.
The metal framed crackle glass amber shades are really quite lovely. With a strong bulb, they give an ambiance that is quite lovely. Not easy to find quality like this.
The contrast between the pewter body and the matte brass elements is quite striking. These sconces have a rich formality, and yet just have so much nice detail. So unusual and so striking.
We took our picture with a mere 15 watt bulb so the camera lens would focus on the entire sconce and shade detail...not get blown out by too strong of a bulb.
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire.
Measurements: The overall sconce height is 11â€. The maximum width (shade) is 5 1/2â€. It will project into the room from the wall 9 1/2â€. Backplate measures 10 1/2†tall by 5 1/2†wide.
Price for the pair: $825.00 plus $25.00 for careful packing and shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

Antique Williamson 5 Light Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier
Here is a 1930's chandelier designed and made by R. Williamson & Co., and marketed in the 1930s by Beardslee, who had bought the Williamson company for their excellent designs.
This light has retained its original Deco polychrome color finish, which has been very beautifully maintained. Every lovely decorated metal panel of this great light is impressed with the Beardslee logo.
What a gorgeous fixture, and in such wonderful condition! The shades are in fantastic condition, too.
Measurements:
* Height: 26"
* Diameter: 17"
* Canopy Diameter: 5 5/8"
The fixture has been totally rewired, and done with the utmost care. The sockets are new by Leviton...and are the identical type that Williamson used in the 1930s. The goal was to maintain the originality of the fixture as much as possible. And...it does...look great. Each socket is rated for 100 watts, so achieving 500 watts of light is very easy to do. We will also be supplying the bracket (crossbar) for this light so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.
Really an outstanding light.
Price: $1,375.00 plus shipping. A great value for an outstanding, scarce, rewired, and signed Antique Art Deco Chandelier.
$50.00 for careful packing and shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.
Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and International Customers: We gladly ship our listings to customers worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated and invoiced separately on a per-order basis. Degué glass More »
The maker of the shade is Degué. It is signed “Ros,†which was a synonym for the french art glass company known as Degué in Deco times.
Degué glass was destined for the collections of the few privileged Americans and French able to afford them. These extravagant works were rarely seen outside the homes of such collectors, but influenced the taste and fashions of the day through their appearance in exhibitions and magazines of the late 1920's. The glassware made up to 1930 was colourful, whereas the items made after 1930 were frosted and more subdued, in response to the Great Depression.
In 1936, due to the great strikes, the Degué glassworks stopped operating. It was officially closed in 1939 at the outbreak of WWII.
The Degué center bowl of this chandelier is made out of Degué’s typically thick-walled, molded glass and shows a great, strict geometrical décor, as well as the pattern of grapes. It is tinted a soft baby-blue with a frosted surface. There are a couple of bubbles on the edge of the glass in one area, denoting the hand made nature of this Art Deco light. It is signed “ROS†in script on one surface.
The metal of the frame is nickel plated.
This ceiling bowl has been totally re-wired in our UL listed workshop, with a new American socket cluster containing three sockets, and it is ready to go.
Measurements: The overall height is 18â€. The maximum width (shade) is 13 1/2â€.
$650.00 for the complete French Degué restored ceiling light, plus $50.00 for careful packing and Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

There is strong evidence to say that this fine heavy cast/pressed shade was made by Consolidated Glass Mnf Co of America.
The company Frankelite, who made a few slip shade fixtures during the 1930’s, made this ceiling bowl to match their Fenwick Series. The pattern matches the Fenwick Series as well as the color.
A very nice quality offering, and there is only one available.
This ceiling bowl has been totally re-wired in our UL listed workshop with a standard medium base household socket. We have installed it on our recreated single light fixture that mounts on three chains.
Measurements: The maximum width (shade) is 12 3/8â€.
$522.50 for the complete ceiling light...plus careful packaging and shipping.

Cast iron fixture with it’s original “self colored†gray metal finish. Finish does show it’s age a bit after 90 odd years, but like an oriental carpet, very pleasing to folks who appreciate this antique look.
The design of the metal casting is so very nice as well. Please examine the center of this nice chandelier. There you will see a bakelite center design being escorted by five Mica panels on the outside of the fixture. The design is just plain NICE. There are three different amber colored elements...bakelite, mica and glass...but they do work together well.
Totally rewired with new sockets and wire to UL standards and now is ready to install. The chandelier easily installs with the center finial to a standard crossbar, and everything will be supplied.
The amber-tipped shades are a nice touch and are near perfect condition.
Measurements: The overall diameter, from shade tip to shade tip, is 18â€. Height is only 23 1/2†from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial.
$984.50 for the complete set as shown...plus $50.00 for careful packaging and Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.
Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and International Customers: additional shipping costs will be invoiced separately before shipment. Please contact us if you would like a shipping quote before purchase. We will be happy to oblige!
