The chandelier begins with a fabulous canopy ornamented with a geometric polychrome pattern and comes down in a chain to a ziggurat finial with polychrome accents. The chandelier body is formed of a vertical, trapezoidal frame with crisp geometric details and a single light. This is an amazing antique Art Deco five-light chandelier, dating from the 1930 s. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with a geometric pattern and foliate detail, coming down in a chain to a loop with a geometric design. Five arms, each accented with a bold Art Deco circle motif, curve downward into the chandelier body. The body is formed of intricately cast panels, each featuring a striking design of volutes and foliate detail. Between each panel is a shade formed of four pieces of glass. The underside of the chandelier is ornamented with a geometric foliate design, coming down into a gadrooned section, which finishes in a dangling finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier body measures 17 wide and 22 tall; the fixture is 37 long overall. This is a splendid matching pair of antique Art Deco five-light cast brass chandeliers, dating from the 1930 s, with their original sit-in or pudding-bowl shades. Made and signed by Levolite, each chandelier begins with a simple black canopy, which comes down in a chain to a striking brass arrow finial, which crowns an intricately cast, reeded column wrapped in a crisscrossed swag and flanked by intricately cast leaves. Five black S-curved arms extend from the center of the chandelier, each ending in a brass shade holder with simple groove detail and small foliate cutouts, and connected by brass leaves. Each shade holder supports a delightful sit-in shade. These light fixtures are in excellent condition, and the shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around their rims. The base of each chandelier is finished in a palm leaf finial. The chandeliers have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each fixture begins with a beautifully detailed canopy, coming down to a magnificent, open ziggurat finial filled with an abstract, geometric design with red and green accents. The finial connects to the chandelier body, which features a sunburst on the underside, framed by a magnificent geometric and foliate design that extends out into the chandelier arms. This is a wonderful antique Art Deco single-light slip shade pendant, circa 1925. The light begins at the top with a canopy ornamented with torsade trim and stylized foliate detail, and comes down in a chain to a diamond-shaped loop finial that intersects with a volute semicircle. The pendant’s body attaches to the semicircle at each end, formed of two bands with geometric ends, which come down the sides of the pendant, supporting the shade, and meet at the bottom with a volute finial that finishes in a palmette. The hexagonal slipper shade features an abstract geometric design. This light fixture is in very good antique condition, with one tight hairline in the glass (pictured) that is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. This is a splendid antique Art Deco five-light bronze chandelier, dating from the 1920 s. It begins with a very unusual canopy featuring a zigzag edge, and comes down in a chain to a remarkable loop finial with an inverted ziggurat shape. Five wonderfully cast pieces, featuring an intricate floral and foliate design, come down the chandelier body to the support the bobeches. Below the finial is a fluted section, followed by a round pole, which finishes in an intricately cast base, featuring an incredible design of floral and foliate detail surrounded by geometric shapes, followed by a ziggurat section which ends in a finial. The arms spring from the base of the chandelier, arching upward to end in a spike, beneath which hangs a bobeche with a zigzag edge. This light fixture is in excellent condition.
