For Sale is a beautiful piece of art glass made by the Moser Glass works Company of Karlsbad, Austria. The form is a Wheel Cut and Gold Gilded Cabinet Vase. The Vase has a petite size to it as it stands 3 3/8" tall and is 3 1/4" in diameter. The top opening is roughly 1 1/2" in diameter outside measurement.
The Vase has a bulbous bottom with an elongated neck with applied handles. The vase has a wonderful and beautiful Amethyst Colored Neck that was blown off of a clear body background glass. It has 3 applied handles that somewhat resemble twigs. The Vase is further decorated with wonderful wheel cut art nouveau flowers. There appears to be 3 different flowers. One of the flowers looks like a Lily, another like a Tulip and the last one like a Wild Rose. The details in the flowers and leaves is outstanding as you can see detailed veining and the folds and creases in the flowers. To finish and add some color to this vase the raised Twig Style branches have been Gold Gilded along with the top lip and along the exterior edge of the lip.
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. There is some Gold Gilding loss especially to the flat top lip as pictured. The other areas are marginal. One could have this re-gilded if they wanted to. There are several scratches on the bottom flat side and is typical on clear crystal glass with age. The piece is not signed and more than likely had a paper label at one time.
This is a Quality and Lovely piece of art glass and would be a wonderful addition to ones art glass collection. I'm quite sure the lucky buyer will not be disappointed with the purchase of this vase. This Vase was made Circa 1880-1900. « Less

For Sale is a Lovely piece of Art Glass made by the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The shape is a Vase and the color is Green. The Vase is More »
For Sale is a Lovely piece of Art Glass made by the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The shape is a Vase and the color is Green. The Vase is large as it measures 6 5/16" tall and is 7 1/4" wide at the mouth. The base of this lovely Vase is 4 3/4" in diameter.
The pattern of this vase is known as Catalonian and was advertised as "Glass of Old Spain". It has a light Green color that is accented with air bubbles varied in size throughout the entire body of the piece. This is green Vaseline glass and has a great green glow under a black or UV light. There are horizontal rings that vary in size and spacing. The Vase display a triangular shaped body with a wide circular flared top lip. The lip is not perfectly round and gives this piece that hand blown look. The vase has an Art Deco appeal and you can see the influence of Lalique Glass in this and many other early pieces produced by this company.
This particular line was created by Reuben Haley who was known as one of the best glass designers in the country. He was not only a glass master but also a sculptor and metal worker. He would mold his design from clay first and then produce it in glass and was the creator of the Ruba Rombic and Martele Line as well. The Muncie Pottery Company is also known for its' Ruba Rombic line which was also designed by Reuben Haley.
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The Vase is unsigned but guaranteed to be Vintage Consolidated Glass. There is the typical rough pontil scar where it was broken away from the pipe and you can see that this was blown into a one piece mold from the mold line.
This a rare and hard to find form in the Catalonian Line so purchase with confidence. This Vase was made Circa 1927-1941. « Less

For Auction is a beautiful Art Glass Salt made by The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company of Maspeth (Queens), Long Island New York. The Salt stands 1 1/8" tall and has a diameter of 2 5/8".
The Salt displays a gold Iridescence with very strong hues of Fuchsia on the outside and inside. When looking inside it is absolutely beautiful as you can see Platinum Blue, Purple, Green, and Strong Fuchsia tones. The piece changes in color as you turn it in the light. The Salt has Vertical Ribbing throughout and a very tiny raise and fire polished top lip. The salt was made to compete with L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile and Steuben Aurene Salts.
The Salt is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. This piece has a beautiful polished counter sunk pontil. It is signed on the bottom with the etched "Quezal" cipher as pictured.
Martin Bach Sr. was the founder of Quezal. He worked for L.C.T. Tiffany Studios from 1892-1902. The quality of his glass was as good as Tiffany, Steuben and Loetz. The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Co was in business from 1902-1924. Quezal Art Glass pieces Rarely come up in today's market. They were more noted for their Art Glass Shades they produced by the tens of thousands. It appears that the collectors do not want to let these go. I'm quite sure the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase.
This salt was made, circa 1910-1915. « Less

For Sale is a wonderful Art Glass and Bronze Vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Bud Vase". This Bud Vase is done in Tiffany's highly sought after Green Feather Pull Style of Art Glass with a Patinated Bronze Holder. The Vase has some size as it stands 12 3/8" tall. The Top or Flower part of the Vase is 1 5/8" in diameter outside measurement. The Bronze foot has a diameter of 3 3/4".
The glass insert on this bud vase has a cylindrical tapered shaped with a flared top opening to receive flowers. It is decorated with a Green Feather Pull Decor against a brilliant gold favrile iridescence background glass. It has a trumpet shaped flower top. This glass insert fits into a bronze holder that has a round foot. This holder has a ribbed pattern and the part the holds the inserts resembles a gourd. The Patina is wonderful and displays a rich green brown organic color.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as the glass has no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The area where the glass fits into the bottom appears to have a slight indent at the top lip. It could have been made this way or it happen after manufacture as I am not sure. The piece normal age wear on the bottom and it is my belief that this vase was well taken care by previous owner. There is minor calcium deposits on the inside lower bottom and is common for these vases as they were used. This is minor and considered insignificant.
The Glass portion of the Vase is signed on the bottom with Tiffany's Etched Signature that reads "L.C.T." The bottom bronze holder is also signed with the impressed mark "Tiffany Stvdios New York" along with its shape number "710". There are also numbers lightly scratched into the metal and they read "2997" with a line through it. This is just above the impressed mark. There are also the numbers "3083" just under the impressed shape number. More than likely this was the order number as I feel the scratch number was not the number they used.
This is one of the Nicest Tiffany Bronze and Art Glass Bud Vases I have had the pleasure of owning. It still retains its original 3 finger holder that fits inside the bronze bottom. When found this part is usually missing. This was Tiffany's way of securely holding the glass insert and you could adjust it so the glass portion will sit evenly. Also, the use of the letter "v" in Tiffany Studios denotes this as an early piece. It is to my belief that this piece was made early, Circa 1898-1905. « Less

For Sale is a lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios of New York, New York. The Item is a "Stemmed Sherbet" and it is done in the very desirable Pastel Green Opalescent color. The Stemmed Sherbet stands 3 5/8" tall and the Cup is 4 3/8" in diameter. The bottom foot has a diameter of 2 9/16".
The Sherbet display a very pleasing pastel green with Onion Skin stretched border edges. It has 10 opalescent Fingers running vertically from the bottom to the top. The Stem is applied much like the Tiffany Floriform Vase's stems were. The Bottom has a Clams Broth color and texture.
The Sherbet is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The only issue is in the making as there are a few inclusions or carbon spots on the inside glass. This was made this way and not damage. It is also quite common with the Pastel Line of Art Glass from Tiffany. The Sherbet displays a counter sunk Polished Pontil. This is the sign of Quality piece of Art Glass. This Sherbet is signed along the outer edge of the Polished Pontil "1281 L.C.T. Favrile" counter clockwise.
This is a wonderful addition to any Tiffany Pastel Art Glass Collection. You commonly see the Stemmed Wine Goblets. You almost never see the Stemmed Sherbets. This piece was made circa 1917-1925. I'm sure the buyer will be delighted with their purchase. « Less

For Sale is an Original Tiffany Favrile Salt made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The piece measures 1" tall and is 2 1/2" in diameter outside handles measurements. The foot or the bottom of the salt is 1 1/2" to the base of each handle.
The Salt displays a wonderful Squat Shade with 2 applied handles on each side. These handles somewhat resemble ears are look adorable with the piece. These salts have also been labeled "Mini Handled Squat Cabinet Vases" or "The Bean Pot" cabinet miniature". The Gold Favrile, Aurene Luster or Iridescence on the outside of the salt is just outstanding!!! You can see very Beautiful strong Hues of Fuchsia and Platinum Blues as well as brilliant Gold's. The Platinum to Fuchsia Iridescence on the inside bottom is like a rainbow of colors. There is a definite difference between Tiffany Favrile Salts. Some are weak in the iridescence and some are not. This salt is about average.
This Tiffany Salt is in excellent Condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is some scratches on the bottom polished side and is typical of normal age wear from use. It appears to have been taken care of through the years. The Salt is signed with the etched "L.C.T." along the bottom edge of the countersunk polished pontil in a counter clockwise fashion. The polished pontil is the sign of a Quality piece of art glass.
I would say this is the Rarest of all the Salts. It is by far the hardest to find with no damage because of its tiny ear shaped handles. This was known in the Tiffany Favrile Catalog of Table pieces as a "Handled" Salt. If you are looking for a Salt to add to your collection that is considered to be an excellent example, look no Further!! Do not let this one slip by you! This Salt was made circa 1900-1920. « Less

For Sale is a very lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Floriform" or "Trumpet" form Flower More »
For Sale is a very lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Floriform" or "Trumpet" form Flower Vase". This Vase is done in Tiffany's highly sought after Gold Favrile Style of Art Glass. The Vase would be considered a nice Cabinet Size as it stands 6 3/4" tall. The Top or Flower part of the Vase is 2 13/16" or roughly 3" in diameter outside measurement.
The Floriform has a Trumpet Shaped Flower at the top with Vertical Ribbing that rises up from a Stem off of a circular foot. The Gold Floriform Favrile, Aurene Iridescence is just outstanding!! You can see very strong Fuchsia's along the bottom foot accented with Platinum Blues on gold all over the rest of the Vase both inside and out. There is one part of the foot that really shows off this Fuchsia Color and it is simply, "Gorgeous".
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece shows minimal wear and it is my belief that it sat in a Cabinet most of its life. Many of these Vases have Mineral Deposits on the inside. I am happy to report that this one has minimal. There are a few minor scratches on the bottom. The Vase is signed on the bottom with Tiffany's Etched Signature that reads, "476P 1831 L.C. Tiffany-Favrile" written in script. I believe the 1831 number is the model number in the Tiffany Favrile Catalogs. The Suffix Letter "P" means this vase was made in 1921.
This is one of the Nicest Gold Cabinet Floriforms I have had the pleasure of owning. I will honestly say that this Floriform Vase in this size is one the Finest I have ever owned. The Vase is so light and delicate it is simply amazing that it has survived 91 years in this condition. It is almost as good as the day it was made. I'm sure the buyer will cherish this wonderful piece of Art Glass in their Collection for many years. « Less

For sale is an original piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is called a "Cordial" but some collectors this a Toothpick Holder, Thumbprint or Dimpled Vase. The piece stands 1 13/16" tall and is 1 5/8" wide. The inside opening is 1 1/4" wide.
The Cordial has brilliant iridescence with strong hues of Platinum Blues, and some Fuchsia. It is similar to Steuben's Gold Aurene in color. The piece is accented with four indented dimples and has a small slightly flared lip. The cordial has a platinum appearance as the iridescence is that wonderful. This Cordial could be used as a Cabinet Vase. The correct application is, "in a decanter set", as Louis Comfort Tiffany designed these to be used for that purpose.
The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no chips, nicks or cracks. The Cordial has a counter sunk polished pontil. The sign of quality art Glass. The piece is properly signed counter clockwise "L.C.T." along the outer bottom edge just below the counter sunk pontil. There is also the number 105 lightly etched to the left of L.C.T. I believe this to be the shape number for this style cordial. This is an early piece of L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile and was made Circa 1902-1910.
