A large terra cotta bust by Louis Dupuis. Signed and dated on the support as shown with an 1891 date. There is a plaque on the bottom which is hard to decipher. It is also dated there, 1841 and 1891. Some words we could make out are "van hethuis" and "Jos. Roeder & Co.". The measurements are 27 1/2"H x 22"W x 13 1/2"D and quite heavy. No structural damage but some of the bronze color is flaking, also as shown. Intricate facial features and well executed. « Less
