Mid 20thC Set of three Carltonware gradated toucan Guinness wall plaques. Two pints of Guinness sit on the toucan beak, with ''MY GOODNESS'' and ''MY GUINNESS'' printed on the sides. Cream reverse with two hanging holes and maker''s marks printed in black ''Carlton Ware Handpainted MADE IN ENGLAND ''TRADEMARK'''', ''REGISTERED AUSTRALIAN DESIGN'' and impressed ''GA2259A'' to the large, ''GA2259B'' to medium, and ''GA2259C'' to the small plaque. Victorian, circa 1850 Staffordshire creamer in the form of a russet and white cow standing on a shaped, ochre lined base with all four legs molded free. A milkmaid is kneeling beneath the cow with a pail in front of her. The cow''s mouth forms the pouring hole. Hole with cover to the cow''s back for pouring the cream into. Decorated all round. Small vent hole to underside of base. Good. Three small chips to underside. Small flake to cow''s mouth, horns, neck, rim of pouring hole and reverse of base. Paint loss to milkmaid''s hair and her green top. Kiln effect: shrinkage crack inside the cow''s mouth. Restored chip to corner of base. Restored cover. 5ins high, 8ins wide   « Less

Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire figures, each modeled as a gent on horseback. Both horses are rearing up over a rocky base. One gent is sat upright holding the reins and the horse''s mane. The other gent is leant back over his horse. Three legs of each horse molded free. Dull gilt base line. Vent hole to underside. No book reference found. Good. Some rubbing to gilt. Kiln effect: slight glaze run from the cobalt glaze. Right facing: Small paint loss to ground. Repair to the horse''s head with bridle retouched. Restored chip to horse''s neck, lower base edge at front and reverse. Restoration of gent''s right foot. Left facing: Small paint loss to saddle at reverse. Repaired crack to underside extending onto the reverse, with some still visible on the underside edge at front/lower base edge. Repair to horse''s neck, chest and the gent''s left boot.
