Four rectangular, ochre feet underneath. Three stilt marks to underside along with raised pattern registration diamond, impressed maker''s marks ''MINTON'', ''1552'' and date cipher for 1871. Good. Trough 1: Kiln effect: a few glaze pops to interior. Repaired bruise to rim. Repaired star hairline to reverse, partly visible inside. Restored flake to ribbon edge at front. Victorian, circa 1890 Staffordshire figure depicting a boy and girl standing side by side on an oval base entitled ''GEORGE MULLERS ORPHANS BRISTOL'' in black indented capitals. She carries a basket and he carries a bag. Both children are wearing the uniform of the school founded by George Muller. This school, along with The Red Maids school and Christ''s Hospital school, were founded in Bristol by philanthropists to care for the poor and orphaned. Decorated all round. Vent hole to reverse.
