Late Art Deco period vase, royal blue body with turquoise interior and green and red drip glaze. marked on the bottom with the number 286 and an illegible mark in ink under the glaze. Two tiny depressions in the body, original before glazing and firing: one on the rim and the other on the point of the angle change on the body. These are not at all apparent, they are only mentioned to be precise in the description. Craquelure of the glaze is apparent on close inspection, but this vase is in excellent condtion. Pair of mirrored copper and glass wall sconces, France, Art Deco, circa 1930''s. Fair condition, Polished edges on the mirror, scalloped detail on the three angled edges. Copper cups hold the glass bobeches. The silvering has some age spots on the mirror backs, original felt backing and hanging straps are attached. These have been re-wired for US electricity and have designer shades added. The mirror backs are glass tinted a lovely pink shade that gives the aspect of copper. Originally made as a lamp, not drilled. This lovely piece stis on its original bronze base with laurel leaf and beaded detailing. Craqelure of the glaze apparent on very close inspection. NC459 This is an impressive antique Art Deco six-light brass three-tiered chandelier, which came from a commercial building in Philadelphia. Dating to the 1930’s, this chandelier hangs on two rods from a large brass canopy. The first tier is composed of a wide, circular brass band ornamented with a cut-out geometric pattern and scalloped edges, from which extend four vertical bands that support the gorgeous, translucent ribbed glass of the second tier. A second wide band, featuring alternating quatrefoil and cross cutouts, encircles the second tier and supports the four bands holding the ribbed glass of the last tier. The base of the third tier is encircled by a third band, also ornamented with cross and quatrefoil cutouts, ending in a scalloped edge. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 22 ½” wide, 5’4” tall, and 10 feet long overall.   « Less

This striking pair of Art Deco cast iron sconces were made in the 1920’s and retains their original, near-mint condition, two-toned finish. These sconces display a scalloped back plate with cast iron pebbling and silver ziggurat details that flare out from the center. The pebbled arms of these interesting pieces stem up to sustain simple scalloped bobeches. The wall lamps are in excellent condition, and are signed Puritan on the back (shown in image). An unusual 1930''s French Art Deco four-light chandelier in original, beautifully worn black finish over hammered iron. It has a circular ring with Art Deco half round details that holds a 10'' ribbed and ziggarette detailed clear glass shade with two white bands. Three whimsically curved iron arms spring from the half-moon details and hold jar-shaped glass shades which have unusual iron skirts. A cone shaped cluster composed of six straps finishes off the chandelier. The chandelier and all the shades (there are no cracks or breaks to the glass) are in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 22'', the length of the chandelier only is 29'', and the overall length is 45''.
