Massive and impressive piece of Seto Ware. Many people call this Arita or Hirado but it is actually the largest piece of Seto ware I''ve ever seen at 22'' tall and 13'' wide. The walls of the piece are 2'' thick or more in spots. Very heavy and impressive work. Condition is very good with a line around one of the holes for the umbrellas. Its been reglued and appears to be solid. There is some dirt around the base where it attaches to the shaft. As an impressive and large piece of Seto Ware as you will ever find. Not polished but I''d better with polish the silver would blast off this piece. See if you can count all the cranes! Just under 4'' across and 3 1/4'' tall.
