This is a beautiful 5-part relish tray made by the Tiffin Glass Company. It is etched with the rarely seen Queen Astrid etch, produced from 1927 to 1940. This etch flows gracefully throughout the tray. The tray measures 12.5" long and 9.75" wide. The tray has no chips, flakes, or flea bites and the glass is very clear. There is one manufacturer's imperfection: on the underside of one handle is a flattened area that is very smooth. It is shown on the enlargement picture on the left hand side of the photo. What appears to be a line on the handle (looks like a crack but isn't) is the edge of the flattened area. Being that it is on the underside and is perfectly smooth it is not noticeable at all, its just a manufacturing imperfection. This is a Tiffin Velva (also listed as Vel-va in some Tiffin catalogs) three-piece console set with single candleholders in the "Frosty Velva" with satin finish. Tiffin Glass Co. made this pattern only from 1937 to 1939. The candleholders each measure 5.25" tall and the flared bowl measures 12 inches in diameter. All three pieces are in mint condition, with no chips, flakes, or flea bites. Offered for your consideration are a pair of #1338 triple candelabras made by the Cambridge Glass Co. between 1932 and 1937. The bases of the candleholders are etched with the elusive Chintz No. 1 etching (Cambridge Etch 758) encrusted with gold. This etching was only used on candelabrum and console bowls. The glass is in mint condition with no chips, flakes, flea bites, or cloudiness. There is only very minor wear to the gold inlay. Offered today is this lovely Cambridge footed decanter and 3 sherry stems. The warm amber coloring of the pieces is very rich and inviting.The decanter is the #1321 which has a 28 oz. capacity and measures approximately 11" in height with the stopper in place. The body of the decanter is amber while the foot and stopper are clear crystal. The stems are #7966 trumpet shaped sherry glasses. These have a 2 oz. capacity and are 5 1/8" in height and 2 1/2" in diameter across the rim.All of the pieces are in outstanding condition. A very nice set.   « Less
