Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Plate measuring 8" in diameter. This is one of several rose mandarin and rose medallion plates that we recently purchased out of a New York Estate. This size plate is referred to as a dessert or luncheon plate. Excellent mandarin quality and in very good condition. Extremely bright colors of blue,pink and green with only minimal wear for this plate of almost 200 years old. Typical mandarin scenes of five ladies in a court yard scene. Nice gold in the hair. The border of the plate is decorated with roses, butterflies, and other greenery with a gilded rim. Minimal losses to gilding and to rim where these plates were handled.   « Less

Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin dinner plate measuring 9 1/2" in diameter. This is one of several rose mandarin and rose medallion plates that we recently purchased out of a New York Estate. This dinner plate measures 9 1/2" in diameter and is of the best mandarin quality. This wonderful mandarin plate is in excellent quality and also excellent condition. Extremely bright colors of blue,pink, green with only very minimal wear for this plate of almost 200 years old. Typical mandarin scene of five ladies in a court yard scene. Nice gold in the hair. The rim of the plate has wear from use. The border of the plate is very typical of mandarin quality with butterflies, birds and greenery. Circa 1750 Chinese Export Dinner Plate measuring 9 3/8" and a Shallow Soup Plate measuring 9 1/4" in diameter. We have identified that both of these plates bear the Arms of Cransen Impaling Hartman. This is in the publication of J. Kroes Catalog #403 A & B. The Armorial Crest has hardly any wear at all in both plates and is in very good condition on both. The border on the outside rim of both plates are very nicely decorated and they are in Very Good Condition with very little if no wear at all.   « Less

Circa 1740 Chinese Export Porcelain Very Fine Eggshell Porcelain Cup and Saucer of dimunitive size. The diameter of the cup is 2 3/8" and 1 1/4" in height and the saucer has a diameter 4". Excellent Quality and in Excellent Condition. One tiny frit on the rim of the saucer. I have found no restoration on this child size minature piece. Circa 1740 Chinese nice Canton Famille Rose Tea Caddy. Made during the reign period of Emperor Yongzheng and the Qianlong Period which dates this in the 18TH Century. Measures 4" in height to the top of the cover and 3 1/2" in width and 3" in depth. The condition is Good with only some chips and frits and a few small old restored chips around the cover, which you would suspect in a piece over 250 years old. Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Cache Pot with undertray #1. It is very rare to find these mandarin cache pots and extra difficult to find one with the right undertray, much less any undertray. It does not get any better than this. This and another very similar one are being listed on our web site. First things First!!This one which is the larger version is 2 5/8" in height and the opening measures over 2 3/4" in diameter. The undertray is 3 1/4" in diameter and is a perfect fit. The cache pot is rose mandarin with mandarin ladies only separated by the background of a building and flowers and trees. The underplate is all green and pink flowers with no people so it is considered rose canton. These two pieces were made for each other as they would not have made a underplate in mandarin. Usually all underplates in famille rose were made in rose canton. They are a perfect fit. Excellent Quality and in Perfect Condition.   « Less
