Wonderful Handel molded poppy boudoir lamp in an acid etched mauve coloration measuring 16" tall and 7" wide. The shade is mounted to one of Handels best bases in an oriental pierced design with reeded stem painted in Handels original gray polychrome enamel. Handel overlay desk lamp measuring 16.5" tall by 9" wide. The shade overlay is in excellent condition with no losses. The shade glass in molted rose coloration designed to be very restful to the eyes and is all original, but has a few tight lines on two lower border pieces which are not an issue as they are firm and tight in the lower channel. The base is also one of Handels most sought after designs with deep carved arts & crafts four lobed foot complete with four Hubbell sockets and acorns. Regarding the shade it has exceptional glass in sunset molted glass in reds and yellows. The additional S border that makes this lamp popular among collectors has wonderful mottling to the glass in shades of light and dark green opalescent colors.
