Circa 1820-1840 Green Fitzhugh Chinese Export Oval Drainer with a crest of the family that more than likely a complete set of green fitzhugh was a special custom ordered in the early 1800's. This piece was used to set inside of a accompany meat platter, custom fitted. You would put the roast on this piece and the juices would drain into the deep platter. The Drainer Measures 12 1/4" X 9 1/2". The two round decorations on each side of the middle opening was apparently the family's initial inside the gold circle. More than likely every item in this set would have had this symbol. We can not fully make out this initial 100% correctly. We have another listing on our web site for a Green Fitzhugh Plate with the American Eagle in the center of the plate, which appears to have the initial A.C. That listing has quite a bit of information which are excerpts from a article that states among other things that Thomas Fitzhugh was a Director of the British East India Company and spent considerable time in Canton, in China between 1787-1800. He had ordered a dinner service in this pattern that now bears his name, and dates Circa 1790.   « Less

We have been buying it whenever it becomes available. This is a Copeland/Spode Lighthouse Coffee Pot with four demitasse cups with matching saucers. This large lighthouse coffee pot is in excellent condition. It measures 11" in height. It is shown with four demitasse cups and saucers which are included with the coffee pot.   « Less

Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Cache Pot with undertray #2. It is very rare to find these mandarin cache pots and extra difficult to find one with the right undertray, much less any undertray. It does not get any better than this. This and another very similar one are being listed on our web site. First things first!1 This one which is the smaller version is 2 1/8" in height and the top measures also 2 1/4" in diameter. The undertray is 2 5/8" in diameter and is a perfect fit. The cache pot is rose mandarin with mandarin ladies only separated by the background of a building and flowers and trees. The underplate is all green and pink flowers with no people so it is considered rose canton. These two pieces were made for each other as they would not have made a underplate in mandarin. They are a perfect fit. Excellent Quality and in Perfect Condition.   « Less

A fabulous cover from a 24" Vase that had a accident many years ago. We have krept this cover as a nice decorative piece in our house since the accident. The accident happened at the HADA Show probably 8-10 years ago during move out after the show was over. We are now selling things out of our home that has never been offered for sale up until now. The cover has a scene of three ladies in different attire holding different things. The first lady is holding a vase. The second lady is holding a ball, and the third lady is playing a musical instrument. Beautiful colors of a deep pink with a finely painted bottom border in turquoise. Mounted on the top is a garlic in white gilded, which would look great with a candlestick in it, sitting on a coffee or occasional table. The diameter of the base is 8 1/4" and is over 4" in height.   « Less
