Fabulous antique Art Deco Bakelite doorknob sets with matching escutcheons, signed by National Brass Co. and dating from the 1920s. These hexagonal doorknobs feature geometric panels and come with a pair of matching rosettes with stepped ziggurat detail. Each set includes two escutcheons and a matching doorknob set with connecting spindle and set screws. Four of the sets can be locked, while one set is passage only. There are some tiny cracks on a few of the knobs around the set screw as pictured, which do not affect functionality. Marvelous antique Art Deco flush mount with cylindrical glass shade, dating from the 1920s. This fixture features a simple fitter that holds the neck of the original glass shade. The cylindrical shade features grooved stripes around the sides, moving down to a round textured glass bottom. The bottom of the shade has a fantastic geometric pattern of textured diamonds and gadrooning. This flush mount is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. Outstanding antique Art Deco chandelier with original glass body, salvaged out of Cincinnati, Ohio and dating from the 1930s. This rare chandelier begins in a simple canopy and chain, working down to a round loop finial. The upper body features a crimped tail and ziggurat dome base. The lower body is an abstracted bowl made of original glass that features grooved ribs around the upper edge, gadrooned glass, and a textured cylindrical piece at the bottom. This chandelier is in very good condition with the expected fleabites around the edges and one small chip to the inner body, as pictured, that is only visible if looking down on the chandelier. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier measures 17" wide, 16-1/2" tall, and 28" long overall.   « Less

The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied. Measurements: Overall height (w/o candles) is 12 1/2”, projects into the room 4 1/2”. The backplate is shield shaped and is 4 3/4” at it’s widest point. Cast iron 1920-30 Art Deco sconces with an interesting rectangular “step” slip-in shade on top. The finish is pewter with high/lo accents. I like how the backplate repeats the angular sides of the shade. The shade is secured with set screws and there is a horseshoe style seg at the back, which notches into the shade with the back set screw. An interesting adaptation. Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs. The backplate has a rotary switch for on and off. Lovely set of Circa 1920 wall sconces. Original antique sconces with original ribbed glass antique shades. These sconces have a lovely Edwardian pewter look and a great design that is so typical of the Edwardian style. The original antique shades are also so very nice. They are a tan color outside with a white color inside...like a cased glass shade....all matching. The metal of the backplates is cast metal with a lovely pewter finish. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and were still made up to ONE year ago. So these switches by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this. Measurements: The overall sconce height is 10”. The maximum width (shade) is 6 1/4”. It will project into the room, from the wall 6 3/4”. The backplate, by itself, measures 10” tall by 4 5/8”. Truly a streamline Art Deco pair of sconces. Often called “clam shell” sconces, they are as typical of the Deco era as they can be. Marked contrast of old gold paint and what appears to be nickel contrasts. Striking indeed. The finish IS showing it’s signs of wear and could be cleaned up a mite, but will leave that to be decided by the new owner. The pictures do tell all we think. The shades are in remarkable condition with strong coloring and a very pleasing appearance. Measuring 9 1/2" tall with a width of 5 1/2", they project into a room (from the wall) 5 1/2” These sconces have been completely re-wired with new sockets and all new wire.
