Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Paneled six-sided Pitcher in Rose Mandarin Quality. Measures 4 1/2" in height and 6" from handle to spout. This is the BEST Quality pitcher in this form that I have ever seen. Usually this form is found in medium grade of quality rose medallion. No Wear that I can find. A whole lot of gold. A central scene of two ladies with two men in a scene that is just beautiful. The colors are so bright. This pitcher has a abundant of gold. Butterflies and birds throughout along with roses. The spout is absolutely beautiful. Great Quality and in Perfect Condition with the finest of quality. No Restoration. Fresh out of a New York City Home.   « Less

Late 19th Century Pair of East Coast Nautical Ship Paintings that are fresh out of a house in the Newport, Rhode Island Area. These paintings appears to date from the Late 19th Century. They are not signed. Frames appear to be original Each painting measures 5" X 7" and are framed in 8 1/2" X 10" Frames. Although the frames are original, a modern piece of trim was added to the outside edge. Very Good Condition with No Restoration. Nice small nautical paintings are hard to find. Circa 1850 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Famille Rose Demitasse Cups and Saucers. These cups might be minature cups as they are the smallest rose medallion or rose mandarin cups I have seen. Very good quality, both of the cups and saucers and are in good condition. The cups with handles are 1 5/8" in height and the base measures 1" in diameter. The diameter of the top opening of the cups are a tad over 2 1/4". The saucers are 3 5/8" in diameter and might or might not be the original saucers, but I am 90% sure they are original. Having not seen this size in cup and saucer is the only reason I might have doubt. Good Quality and in Good Condition.   « Less

Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin 9 7/8" Dinner Plate in Excellent Condition. Completely original with no restoration. Perfect with no chips or cracks or damage of any kind. Central theme of plate is ladies gathered in a courtyard. Bright colors of turquoise blue an green. Rim of plate is highly decorated with birds,butterflies,greenery and roses and a bumble bee. 20TH Century Artist David Tayler known for his Mid-Atlantic to Cape Cod Paintings. Tayler was born in Massachusetts in 1968. He is a modern day painter who still paints and the fact that he was raised within sight of the ocean is evident in most of his paintings. His work depicts all facets of coastal areas and marine subjects. Previous painting of his that we have owned and sold have been sailing ships, in different versions, such as single,double, triple and J Class. This is the first in a steamship that I have seen or even heard that he has painted. He has in the past studied famous artists in the different sailing ship that are well known artist. This painting he apparently has been studying earlier steamship artists such as Antonio Jacobsen. This painting is very well done and is Custom Framed in a Beautiful New Molded Frame. The measurements of the canvas is 24" X 20" and the frame measurements are 32 1/4" X 28". Even though his paintings are not antique, I have noticed a 100% increase in prices of his works over the past five years.   « Less
