Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Sauce Tureen measuring 8 1/2" from handle to handle and with a opening of 5 1/2". The height to the top of the mushroom finial is 6 1/2". This is a very attractivr tureen with very good quality and in very good condition, It is very colorful as in rose mandarin and well gilded, This tureen would make a very attractive and decorative part of display. Almost in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The only flaw would appear a have had damage to the lid at some time point since the finial has appeared to have been re-fixed and the break properly restored as has presumably a crack in the lid cover. Those are almost undetectable as the cloes-up images will show.   « Less

circa 1770 Chinese Export Tea Bowl and Saucer in the Beautiful Mandarin Palette pattern that was made for the european market. This tea bowl and saucer is Excellent in quality and also in condition. There is a slight hairline on the back side of the saucer that is not noticeable on the decorated pattern side and is very faint on the opposite side. Excellent Quality and Condition. We have never seen a dinner plate in this pattern but we have one coming in from England that a picker has found for me. Also in that container when it arrives will be a 48" Rose Mandarin Vase. Circa 1760-1770 Chinese Export Armorial plate features a armorial coat of arms in the center of the plate. This center is surrounded with a black and gilt rope design along the cavetto. Measuring 9" in diameter, this important armorial plate is in Excellent Condition. We have not been able to find who's coat of arms it is. We have searched both volumes of David Howard's book on Chinese Export Porcelain and it is not in either one. We feel by the design that it probably was made for the dutch market.   « Less

No chips,cracks or wear to this plate. Loss of gilding on the rim of the plate. But for such a Rare piece in this sought after pattern, I guess we can not expect miracles. Incredible Three Piece 18th Century Chinese Export Covered Bowl and Underplate from the Yongzheng Dynasty dating 1722-1735. We rarely find pieces predating Qianlong (Chien Lung). The Condition is Excellent which is extremely rare to find in this remarkable item considering the age. The underplate is 6" in diameter and beside a few nibbles,frits on the edge the underneath, this piece is in perfect condition. Amazing the vine feet have never been broken. The entire piece front and back has been impressed to replicate a lily-pad or other leafs. The fluted edge is decorated in rouge-de-fer and a lime green. The center decoration is famille rose with two sepia or brown pomegranites with gilded speckles. The bowl itself is lotus is 4" in diameter by 2 1/2" tall. A lotus shape with applied flowers. The lip is scalloped and decorated to match the saucer and lid with the same rouge de fer and lime green border. Their is very little wear to the enamels or gilding. The enamels and gilding are Excellent. This is a truly a beautiful object. This period of chinese is very difficult to find or come by and one in this condition practically impossible. I guarantee this rare object to be authentic and absolutely not a reproduction. whoever purchases this object will be 100% Satisfied.   « Less

C. 1840 Wedgewood Pearlware Mazzarin Drainer in the beautiful orange color. This drainer is in good condition. The drainer has two small chips to the interior edge of the strainer. On the back of the drainer is the wedgewood name and the #16 impressed. This is the highly collectible rare pearlware with a orange/red transfer decoration of poppies. The mazzarin measures 13 1/4" X 9 1/2" and the table is 23" tall. The last owners of this drainer had a cabinet maker make a custom made stand to inset the drainer which presently makes a great table to set your drink when relaxing. We purchased this piece with the table already made. We have had drainers and platters previously make tables with pieces of nice porcelain to be utilized as a occasional table. We have cleaned up the table and it is all set to go.   « Less
