Antique shaded green art glass Pitcher / jug with intaglio engraved flowers made by Ludwig Moser and Sohne, Bohemia (now Czech Republic), 1890''s. Measures 12 1/2 inches high. Thick glassed round base. Narrows towards the top in facets whose angles result in interesting light reflection combinations. Glass is green cased inside clear with the green showing on the top and cut away towards the bottom. The glass is further hand engraved in an intaglio tulip pattern. Exquisite detail - the closer you look, the more detail you see, from the striations of the bent and folded leaves, in the best Art Nouveau elongated, swirling design, to the acutely observed botanic inner parts such as the stamen with anthers on the ends. Antique 3-layer cut glass, handpainted pedestal beaker, goblet vase. Made Bohemia (now Czech Republic), 19th century, circa 1880 - 1900. Measures 6 1/4 inches high. Tremendous technical skill used to blow this vase in 3 layers - deep blue cut to clear with white opaque interior. Cut with rows of round windows to reveal the inner layer, which creates a great visual play as it moves to different angles. The round windows of the main part of the body are each handpainted, very, very finely with flowers - pink roses, blue daisies etc. Gilded upper rim. Technical and artistic skill as only found in the best Bohemian glass of the 1800''s. Very good condition - no chips/cracks/damage/restoration of any sort and the painting remains fresh and clear - obviously a well looked after piece for over 100 years. Antique carved cameo glass sweetmeat jar / bowl with silver plate lid and bail. Made in England, by Thomas Webb & Sons, 1880 - 1915. 3 1/2 inches high, excluding handle or finial. Approx 4 1/4 inches accross widest part. Marvellous sea blue / turquoise inside layer of glass. Encircled approx 3/4 the way around, by a frieze of white carved coral flowers, twigs, buds and foliage. Identical carved pattern can be seen in Grover''s book on English cameo glass by Grover, picture C124 (page 136), made by Thomas Webb & Sons and called Gem Cameo, Primula decoration. Exquisite fine detail. Please note: dark colours in ''photos do not exist in reality - colours are clean white on blue. The top of the bowl is mounted in a silver plate neck with attached, hinged handles, all with classic gadrooned borders, and a silver plate lid with similarly edged finial. No marks, but quality is clearly Webb and since the identical pattern is known to belong to them, we can be sure of the origin. Very good condition. No chips/cracks/damage/restoration of any sort. Antique Murano / Venetian perfume bottle made of extraordinary iridescent glass. Made Venice, Italy late 19th - early 20th century. Measures a little over 2 3/4 inches long, excluding the chain and finger ring. Egg shaped bottle. The colours are exceptional - light blue and silver on black. Whether done with real silver or foil, the effect is stunning - looks like a galaxy of the universe. The neck is joined by a hinge to the cap, all metal is brass with fine repousse patterning. On either side of the neck are loops to hold a beaded chain which connects to a finger ring made of twisted brass. Stopper lacking. No marks. Very good condition. Antique lay down cameo enameled glass and gilt sterling silver perfume bottle made by Daum, Nancy, France, late 19th - early 20th century. Measures 6 inches long. Outstanding cameo glass in a number of colours: background ranges from frosted clear, through bright pink and green. The cameo layers are deep red, clear and purple-blue with gold highlights on the foliage near the bottom. Delicate, tiny Hollyhock flowers and foliage in superb detail. Exquisite fine workmanship. Neck is mounted in silver with French hallmarks for 19th century. Cork stopper. Round lid with exquisite raised Morning Glory flowers and leaves and fitted silver gilt bottom with Iris flower and foliage encircling it. Glass is outstanding in quality as is the silver and engraving. All pieces are hallmarked with the French helmeted head in profile and another (presumably maker''s mark) with MON a rounded triangle and E embossed in it. Bottom of the glass with handwritten DAUM NANCY signature. Glass and silver is all in very good condition with no damage of any sort. Shaped as a stepped semi-circle with original metal openwork collar with raised bow in front. The matching stopper is intaglio cut with a wonderful vignette of a nude blowing bubbles for a winged cherub. Marvellous detail. A tiny butterfly behind the seated woman is the Hoffman signature. Cobalt blue glass vase with sterling silver overlay. Age and origin unknown, but looks to be circa 1950. 4 1/2 inches tall. Baluster shape with round foot and flaring rim. The entire width of the rim, neck and foot are covered with a solid layer of silver. THe body has an openwork pattern of stylised flowers and foliage. There are no hallmarks to be seen. Very good condition with no chips/cracks/scratches/restoration of any sort. Antique perfume bottle made of blue glass cut to clear, profusely handpainted with flowers. Believed to be French and dates to 19th century. Measures approx 4 3/4 inches high. Approx 5 1/4 inches in diameter at widest part. OUtstanding perfume bottle. Shape reminiscent of a woman dancing in a wide swirling dress. Bottom is cut in wide, ridged radiating rays. Slopes up to the bottom of the ''skirt'', which is shaped in concentric cut swags. Radiating from the neck in triangular, stepped panels, bordered by blue glass. WIthin are a myriad of tiny handpainted flowers - beautifully depicted in very fine detail. Each section and panel is different. Flowers from violets, to morning glory, roses anemones etc. Stopper in corresponding swirling blue cut to clear glass with flowers in triangular panels. Good condition. Some negligible nibbles underneath, mentioned only for the sake of accuracy of description.
