The wood itself was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a fine wax finish, which both protects and enriches the natural beauty of the wood, and which is superior to other, cheaper forms of finishing. The shaped bracket feet are as sturdy as they are elegant, while both sets of doors lock with an accompanying key. All shelves adjust by means of a traditional alligator bracket system.
