Circa 1760 Chinese Export Cup and Saucer with the scene of a bull, ox or cow. We have also listed a punch bowl that is exactly identical that we recently purchased out of the same estate. The cup has the animal scene with a mandarin lady and a tree with a building in the background. The saucer bottom where the cup sets is a beautiful large scene as described on the cup. The diapering on the inside of the cup and inside of the saucer are identically and absolutely beautiful. This is very high quality european subject scenes. « Less

Circa 1770 Chinese Export 10" Punch Bowl made for the European Market. Beautiful famille rose diapering on the top inside of the bowl with of a flower on the inside center bottom. The outside of the bowl has circular scene of a cow,bull or ox that is very well done. A Beautiful Butterfly in the sky and nicely decorated. Beautiful roses and a urn eith many flowers. also a tree with butterflies and unusual insects nicely decorated flying at the top of bowl near the top border. In the center of all this are two Bulls, Cows or Ox. Quite unusual and probably made for the European Market. Circa 1870 Chinese Export Pair of Rose Canton Covered Dressing Jars 2 1/8" in height and 1 3/4" in diameter. This is a very unusual pair of dressing jars. Chinese Export dressing jars are made in usually five different sizes. We usually have them in rose medallion and rose mandarin but rarely in rose canton. The difference is that in rose canto there are no people. One of the jars is decorated with green plants, leaves and bushes with pink decorated flowers. The other one is the exact dimension and has the addition of butterflies and very nicely decorated and extremely colorful birds. That jar also has a decoration of a yellow and blue fruit. Both are in Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. « Less

Circa 1780 Chinese Export Tea Bowl with a monogrammed initial with streamers and two hearts. This is lowenstoft, as Elinor would say. A tea bowl measuring 3 1/2" in diameter andv 1 7/8" in depth. The outside border is 80% rubbed off from handling over the past 200 years. The border on the inside is decorated with blue stars with a goldish swag that is not worn too badly. The outside center is a armorial crest with streamers of blue and gold ribbons going down toward a crest with two blue hearts decorated in blue stars with the monogrammed initials of L M W. I have no idea who it was for or if it is historically important, but for the price it would make a great holiday gift to a collector. « Less
