For sale is a beautiful piece of Art Glass made by The Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio. The item is a Vase and it is done in Imperial's highly sought after "Heart and Vine" Decor. This Decorated Art Glass Vase was part of Imperial's "Freehand" Line of Art Glass. The Vase is a good size as it stands 6" tall and is 6 1/2" in diameter. The mouth or opening is 4" in diameter outside measurement with approximately a 2 1/2" inside opening.
The Vase displays a very beautiful Heart and Vine Decor. The Vines and Hearts are done in a Blue Art Glass. This pattern is set against a background of Cantaloupe colored Iridescent glass. The Hearts all sit in a vertical (north to south) fashion with the Vines running both vertical and horizontal. The neck rises up from the top of the shoulder and ever so gracefully flares outwards. The top lip is accented with a deep Blue fire polished art glass rim. This top lip was executed with perfection. The shape is quite unique as well. I would describe this as a Wide Mouth Squat Tapered Shoulder Vase. The iridescence is brilliant throughout the piece. The deep Orange/Red Fuchsia iridescence along the neck is just outstanding!!
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. There are a few areas on the exterior of the vase that have some scratches and missing iridescence. These are rather minor and I pictured the worst one. This was quite common for this color. My camera is 10X zoom and it appears much larger than it really is. The bottom of the vessel shows normal age wear on the high spots on the bottom. The Vase is signed on the bottom with Imperial's Clover Shaped Paper Label that reads "FREE HAND" on the top with "Made in U.S.A." on the bottom along with the "Imperial Cross" and lettering in the 4 sections of the cross.
This is a Very Nice Decorated Art Glass Vase by Imperial. To find this with its original Paper Label is quite Rare and a real bonus to have on the bottom of this Vase.
Imperial Glass Company tried to lure Steuben Aurene and Tiffany Favrile Glass blowers into their shop with enticing employment offers. Some of these workers migrated to Imperial Glass. Imperial Glass was most noted for their Carnival Glass Production. The Free Hand Line of Art Glass was produced for only 3 years from 1923-1925. These are Glass Vases are some of the rarest and hardest to find because of such a short production span. These are much Rarer to Find than Tiffany, Steuben, Durand and Quezal. All of these companies produced Art Glass for a much longer period with Durand being the closest with only 7 years of producing Art Glass. I'm quite sure the buyer with be quite pleased with their purchase.
This Vase was made Circa 1923-1925. « Less

For sale is a lovely piece of Art Glass made by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn of Eleonorenhain Bohmen (Bohemia). This is now modern day "Czechoslovakia". It is a large Art Deco Shaped Vessel with a Metal cage around the Glass Blow-Ins. It is a rather large size as it stands 10 7/8" tall and is 7" in diameter to the outside of the Blow-Ins. The opening of the vase is 4 11/16" at the outside rim.
The Vase is cased with Clear over Pink, Yellow and Deep Purple decorations over a white cased liner. The Glass was blown into the metal frame that has been welded or soldered together. This is a very difficult technique to master and very few examples of this have been seen. It has an overall feel of Art Deco style due to the color and form. It is similar to the Daum Blow-Ins with the Edgar Brandt frames but it is not quite the quality level.
This Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. The piece was blown from the top into a mold with this metal frame. It was then cut and polished at the rim. This is quite typical of the European Glass Houses to do this. The American houses usually fired polished the top edge and didn't have a cut and polished one. This Vase was most likely signed with the Acid Etched "Czechoslovakia" in block lettering mark however, due to the blow in form it most likely would not sit level so the bottom was ground to sit evenly.
This is a quality piece of European Art Glass and would enhance any Art Glass Collection. The Vase would make a lovely addition to any Art Deco or Art Nouveau Decor. This piece was made, Circa 1905-1920. I'm sure the lucky winner will be elated with their purchase. « Less

From our personal collection this is a rare Art Deco Polychromed Light Fixture.
We acquired this years ago from another antique dealer on a buying trip down south. This piece came from a theater that had been demoed. This piece came from the box office.
The polychrome paint finish has been profesionally restored and it still has the ceramic fixture fitters which should be rewired if you plan on using it.
Gorgeous detailing throughout this piece with Art Deco, and Moorish designs. Very theatical and would be perfect in any home, This would be a great conversation piece in a home theatre, or, you could even use it as a one of a kind candle holder!
This is 14 inches long, 8 inches across and will project 5 inches from the ceiling not including light bulbs.
We can ship this item continental US ONLY for a flat fee of 16.50. « Less
