A most interesting FRENCH FAIENCE PUZZLE JUG, most likely Malicorne, in blue on cream ground. In my most recent shipment from France... Jug or "pichet" is reticulated, a cute French novelty popular turn of the century. The Pichet is accented by a coiled snake on the rim. The motto, "Buvez je le veux bien Mais sachez placer votre main....Will try and get translation.

Limoge porcelain ewer. This is another excellent example of Victorian Aesthetic Movement porcelain. This dramatic French jug has huge pink flowers on stems with wicked looking thorns and red and brown leaves. The shape and design of the handle is Egyptian Revival in feel. The back round color is a pale yellow and there are lots of brushed gold accents. The handle is green with gold accents. Signed T & V on the base for the French maker Tressemenn & Vogt, mark 4a. Very fine original condition. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 10 1/2" tall x 7" wide x 3 1/2" base diameter. Price 275. « Less

Gorgeous pair of large mantel ewers. Tall and graceful, these beautiful Grecian style ewers are a soft, shaded, deep cream to peach back round color, boldly decorated with Victorian style white chrysanthemums and pink roses. The white of the flowers is textured and there are gold accents around the raised portion of the neck and base and brushed gold on the handles. Very good original condition, with light wear to the gilded handles and a tiny fleck off the base of one vase. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 15 " tall x 6" wide. Un-marked except for the number 10 in red on the bottom of each vase. Price 375 for the pair. « Less
