Emaux de Longwy: French enamel pottery faience teapot, sugar, creamer and plate. Made in France early 20th century.Teapot is approx 5 1/4inches high. Full, round body, with bright blue handle. Double handled, lided sugar basin is 3 1/2inches high and also has a round shape. Milk jug / creamer is 2 1/4 inches high and plate is 6inches in diameter.Fabulous raised enamel in pinks, red and green on bright turquoise ground. Handles and finials are blue with pink rings around the rims of finials. Design shows very strong Japanese influence and depicts blossoms and branches. Enamelling is almost jewel-like in quality. Each piece is marked with Longwy mark used 1920-40 and impressed round mark. Condition is excellent. No chips/cracks/damage of any sort. Royal Worcester vase, handpainted roses. Made 1914 England.Measures 3 3/8 inches high.Small round foot with gold trim, body is wider than the base, narrowing towards the top and with slightly flaring, wavy, ruffled gilt-edged rim. Pink and red roses painted in full bloom and in bud. Green Royal Worcester mark with numerals G957 and very light 1540. A total of 23 dots indicate the date 1914.Very good condition. No chips/cracks. Made England, 19th century.8 x 8 inches square.Beautifully painted pair of cherubs on a hilly outcrop covered with grasses, flank a basket of flowers. One cherub holds out a small nest of eggs to the other. Ribbons fly behind and around the chubby little fellows. Great detail and very fine artistry.The back of the tile has embossed: Minton Hullins & Co Patent Tile Works Stoke On Trent.Excellent condition - no chips/cracks to be seen. Very early English ceramic chocolate set consisting of a chocolate pot with 4 cups.Made early 19th century or even earlier. Pot is 6 1/2inches high. Cups are 4 1/4inches high.Very beautiful pot in white with simple gold trim, handpainted with scattered flowers. Delicate painting of this sort is more typical of the 18th century. The cups are goblet shaped withmoulded raised patterns of a simple loop and circle. Similar delicate painting above it.Much of the gilding is lost. 6 handpainted enameled porcelain plates made 19th century England by Coalport for Tiffany New York.Each plate measures 8 3/4inches in diameter. The white bowls are richly handpainted with boquets of flowers - each plate is different and between them, we see the floral spectrum of a beautiful English garden. Coalport was considered to have the finest porcelain painters in the 19th century and this is a good example of their beautiful work.Sides of plates: Concentric enameled bands separated by gold borders. Red and cobalt patterning on the yellow central band. Green flowers with red centers alternating on the creamy ground with delicate gold patterns inbetween.The backs of each plate are marked with the Coalport Crown Coalport A.D 1750 and England in green and the purple Tiffany & Co. New York below that. Each plate also has a handpainted gold number 8867/A and impressed numbers. (see ''photos).Condition is MINT. We did not find a single fault on any of the plates. Chinese Famille Rose cup and saucer in the Mandarin palette, made circa 1820.Saucer is almost 5 1/4inches in diameter; cup is 2 5/8inches high.Saucer with high sloping sides, almost like a bowl (to facilitate drinking directly from the saucer as was common at the time). Profuse enamel painting covers both cup and saucer. Borders of flowers with various Chinese symbols and caligraphy enclose figural scenes: Soldiers and servants in a palace, a woman admiring the landscape view; men sitting under a tree flanking a large bowl of fish; people strolling and sitting in landscapes. Condition is very good. Considering the age and delicacy of the pieces, there is very little wear. There are 2 tiny fleabit chips on the rim of the saucer, magnified in the photos. Pair of Art Nouveau candlesticks in the form of angles / winged cherubs with applied flowers, made by the Plaue factory owned by Schierholz, in Plaue Thuringia, late 19th century.(the factory operated 1880-1906). Meissen quality.Measure 6 3/4inches high.Each candlestick stands on an ornate swirling tripod base, richly adorned with applied flowers in pink and blue with green stems. Richly highlighted in gold. A beautifully modelled angelic face with blond curls and puce wings supports a flowerform drip pan, and acanthus moulded candlestick, again with rich gilding.Each stick is marked with a double crossed line, somewhat in immiatation of the Meissen mark. One stick also has an impressed number 42.Condition is excellent. Blacklight shows no restorations.
