Late 19th Century Limoge Jardiniere with matching base and stand. This is definetly one of the Limoge Factories that had made these flower pots with a stand in the latter part of the 19th century. There were many of these companies in France, known in Limoge with Haviland being the front runner and a name everyone can probably compare with. Sets of dinner china with many serving pieces are the most well known product that was specially made for department stores all over the world. This is a RARE Pedestal with original base that fits on top of the stand and a Jardineer sits on the base. These three parts are all in Good Condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Only gilding losses from being handled so many times over the years. The stand measures 18" in height and with middle piece and the jardineer the entire height is 29" in total height. Perfect for orchids, plants for all seasons. « Less

Too bad it is not a Pair. The pictures will tell the story. The turquoise ribbon in the middle with a band going all the way around is very unusual. Double gilded foo dogs on each side of the ribbon. The central mandarin scene with 13 people and two horses. This vase has it all. Butterflies Galore. Roosters, chickens, fox, rabbits and a Fabulous Peacock. « Less

Mid 19TH Century (C. 1840-1850) Continental, maybe Russian Plate measuring 9 1/2" in diameter. This unmarked plate is a very well decorated porcelain plate. Central scene of a large animal, possibly moose with antlers. Very Good Quality. The artist has even painted a shadow of this animal. Beautiful gold gilding with hardly any wear at all. The outside of the rim is black with a turquoise panel with a design going full circle. There are three black circles with gilding which I believe represents a Russian Icon. This plate is quite different and absolutely fantastic. Excellent Condition and Very Good Quality « Less

Circa 1850 Chinese Export Kendi. A Kendi is a well known form in the Southeast Asian repertoire of vessels and it has played a significant role in the rituals and daily life of the region since ancient times. Most kendi's are made of precious metals such as gold, silver or bronze. It was used as a ritual container for holy water. This Kendi was probably made in the mid-late 19th century for the european market. It has a a bulbous body, tall narrow neck, flange around the mouth and a mammary spout. This one is most unusual as it is decorated with a mandarin scene. This scene is continuous around the whole circumference of the bulbous body with vibrant colors and mountains in the background. This very unusual piece measures 14" in height and it's bulbous body measures 10" in diameter. It is a possibility that this Kendi was made for the Persian Market. « Less

Circa 1800 Coalport Dragons in Compartment Three tea cups and two saucers. We believe that two of the cups were made for the two saucers and the other tea cup was a extra. More »
Circa 1800 Coalport Dragons in Compartment Three tea cups and two saucers. We believe that two of the cups were made for the two saucers and the other tea cup was a extra. The previous owner had a label on the bottom of one of the saucers, marked as a Chamberlain's Worcester Dragon C.1810. Being a specialist in chinese export porcelain, I am not sure of maker, but I am quite knowledgeable that this is a very collectible pattern in Fine English Porcelain regardless of the Englisher maker. All five pieces appear to be in good condition, with exception to gilding and the center medallion on one of the cups with much wear caused by use for over 200 years old. No chips or cracks. The saucers rims measure 5 1/4" in diameter. All three matching size cups are a tad over 2 1/2" in height and the top opening measuring 3" in diameter. « Less
