The rocker seat measures 21 by 19 1/2" and is 38" high. The rocker is in excellent well cared for condition with no breaks, stains, and good clean edges and is signed with the Roycroft orb and cross on the front bottom rail. Old Mission Koppercraft bookends made in San Francisco, California in the shop started by famed Arts & Crafts era metalsmith Fred Brosi. They are both fully marked with the OMK stamp as shown. The patina on this pair is beautiful - very dark and absolutely original and considered very fine with no scratches, blemishes, verdigris, or dents. Beautiful example of Handel's Tropical Sunset Overlay Lamp in the largest size available for a table lamp measuring 26" tall and 20 1/2" wide. The base is also one of Handels most sought after designs with deep carved arts & crafts four lobed foot complete with four Hubbell sockets and acorns. Regarding the shade it has exceptional glass in sunset molted glass in reds and yellows. The additional S border that makes this lamp popular among collectors has wonderful mottling to the glass in shades of light and dark green opalescent colors.
