At 90 years old, not yet an official antique! Beautiful hand carved sofa, has been in the family since it was made. Recovered in silk fabric and hand tufted in the late 90's. Down cushion. The seating cushion has down feathers in it. It was recovered with the silk fabric in the mid nineties, and it has gotten ten uses a year since then. There are no tears, rips or marks on the fabric. The wood does have some signs of wear/age. The sofa is quite deep - the back is further back than most sofas you sit on. The seat is quite firm, and the springs were retied when it was recovered. At the tallest point of carving on the back it is 30.5 inches tall. It is about 37 inches deep on the outside, cushion is 24.5. Approx 86 inches long, cushion is 67. Buyer to arrange pick up from the Cleveland, OH area.   « Less

Beautiful antique sofa/settee. Probably purchased at antique market in New Orleans as that is where the other antiques I have were purchased. I don't know if the upholstery is original, but has been on there for more than 50 years. I believe also has the original stuffing. Good condition, except for some "pulls" on back material, and a small, broken piece of wood on the top right - not noticeable. Has always been in smoke-free home.   « Less

We are listing this as "vintage" as we don't have an age for this piece. It was recovered about 15 years ago in periwinkle velveteen fabric. There is some very, very slight fading not noticeable unless you remove the arm sleeve. The seat cushions are goose down filled. The wood legs are scratch-free. This beautiful sofa has been maintained in excellent condition by an antiques collector. Approximate measurements are: 74" long by 31" deep.   « Less
