#1093. A fine Art Deco woman bust made in gesso (plaster) sitting on a white marble base. The sculpture depicts a classical art deco lady. with original stunning patina. Great face features, very elegant and sophisticated, but decapitated!! The bust is sold as is to be restored or not for a fun accent to your interior decor!! It's a clean brake on it's neck. MEASURES: 19" HIGH X 12 1/2" WIDE X 10" DEEP approx. France, dates back to the 1920'sNOTE: Pictures were taken both with and without flash light so you can see the tone of the patina with different types of light. Ernst Lubbert was a classic German artist of the Art Deco period. (German, 1879-1915) His hard-to-find works most often portray the haute monde, high society folks of German or Austrian background at events which seems to suit them best - dining, dancing, or just entertaining each other. His color palatte is usually restrained, but make sthe most of bold crimsons, reds, and usually black. Reminding us of Ludwig Hohlwien, a contemporary and country-man, Lubberts work makes us wish that Belle Epoque Berlin hadnt taken place almost 100 years ago. This poster for Cardinal, produced in 1911, is exceptionally beautiful, and like all of Lubbert''s pieces, a must for collectors of Jugenstil, Art Deco and classic designs. This is a wonderful antique Art Deco American stained glass window, dating from the 1920’s. The window features a beautiful multicolor slag glass flower with a cream-colored slag glass panel on either side, followed by violet slag glass panels. The background is formed of clear granite glass with a light amber granite glass border. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks; the frame is in very good antique condition with some peeling paint. The window measures 20” wide and 30 ¾” tall, with a frame 1 3/8” thick, and the glass measures 15 ½” wide and 25 ¾” tall. Item #: NSG36-RW   « Less
