Lightolier was an historical early maker of electric lighting. We present here a beautiful hanging fixture by Lightolier of heavy verde metal with it's original hammered amber cylinder glass shade in arts & crafts form. The fixture is in excellent condition with original hanging chain and ceiling plate (signed with Lightolier label under the plate as shown inset). This fixture measures about 19 inches high including the ceiling plate (11 inches high for the lamp portion only) and it is about 5 inches wide.   « Less

Beautiful example of Handel's Tropical Sunset Overlay Lamp in the largest size available for a table lamp measuring 26" tall and 20 1/2" wide. The base is also one of Handels most sought after designs with deep carved arts & crafts four lobed foot complete with four Hubbell sockets and acorns. Regarding the shade it has exceptional glass in sunset molted glass in reds and yellows. The additional S border that makes this lamp popular among collectors has wonderful mottling to the glass in shades of light and dark green opalescent colors. Both base and shade are both signed Handel and are in excellent condition with the shade having no chips, cracks, or missing overlay. Lamp has been rewired and is ready to use. Fine Pairpoint reverse painted Chandelier with peach/rust ground and multi hued flowers as the focal point. This is a very difficult piece of historical lighting to find and is quite beautiful to behold. The lamp has 4 sockets and was recently rewired.
