An excellent antique cast bronze large entrance doorknob and matching exterior doorplate in Reading Hardware's "Mantua†design, c. 1905. The set features an entry knob with a fourfold foliage design, and a sturdy cast bronze backplate with graceful curves and scrolling foliage on each end. The door knob takes a 3/8†spindle. The escutcheon plate is 2-7/8†wide and 10†long, and the doorknob is 2-3/8†in diameter and 2†deep.
