Lalique turtle amber and clear in like new pre-owned condition with sticker and felt pads on bottom. This is a discontinued model. Lalique has not made this model for many years. It was designed in 1973 by Marie-Claude Lalique. The last time we could find the price of this model was in the 1999 Lalique price list under The Tortue Caroline Lalique model #1163900 list price $570.00. I believe this model was discontinued shortly after that with a closing issue price of almost $700.00. These rarely come to the market most people keep them forever. They make a wonderful paperweight or display in cabinet with other art glass. The turtle measures 6 inches from the tip of its nose to the back of its tail. Widest width 3-5/8 inches. The goblets have a carved marquise shaped design along the lower portion of the glass and on the bottom of the pedestal base. The stems are 3 crystal balls. This is a very unusual and beautiful design. The goblets measure 6 inches high, with a diameter of 3-3/4 inches, and are 3-1/4 inches wide at the bottom of the pedestal base.
