The piece has a beveled marble top. Curved open display shelves on the upper sides and curved doors with bronze wiring and curtains on the bottom. On the center a door simulating several drawers open to a spacious compartment that could be used as a liquor cabinet. Original bronze hardware.The piece comes apart in two for shipping. The cabinet features a fantastic black glass top with a back chromed gallery, also a chromed tray with holes to place bottles. The front has a bottom bronze pedal that when stepped on opens a lower bin, like a trash can. Also in the front one top drawer with chromed handle. The right side features a door that has a pull out piece where a large and smaller glass lab flask fits. The other side has a lower door with storage space and on the top a pull out tray with two large holes to place more lab equipment. The piece has it's original bronze tag that reads " Lutz Ferrnado y CIA/ INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" . All lab equipment pictured here is included in the sale ( Acid etched glass flask, glass bottles and all other pieces) !!! circa: 1901 width: 20 height: 33 length: 19 This beautiful antique mahogany pot cupboard was hand-crafted in Edwardian England around 1900. Over the years, the wood has developed a lovely patina that enriches the distinct, wispy mahogany grain and lustrous complexion; especially striking are the places where flame mahogany has been used. Solid-brass hardware forms a wonderful contrast to the mahogany, while the ridged, rolling door adds a bit of elegant texture to this antique pot cupboard. Shaped bracket feet provide sturdy support and the antique cupboard itself contains a generous amount of storage space and useful features, such as two interior cabinet sections and a fold-out top that reveals a retractable mirror and another area for storage. We believe that this antique pot cupboard was used as a bedside piece on either a train or ship because of its portability. Condition remains very good, particularly for an Edwardian antique, and the cupboard has sustained no damage beyond a slightly warped shape to the top, mirror spotting and some wear on the interior (see pictures). This Edwardian mahogany pot cupboard will function wonderfully and will continue to grow more beautiful for decades to come, so it would certainly make a wise investment for your furniture collection!   « Less

circa: 1940 width: 34 height: 75 length: 20 This beautiful antique rosewood china cabinet was recently purchased at an estate auction in England and directly imported to our antique furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. It dates back to about 1960 and has held up very well over the years. The wood has a nice, rich color and very subtle but consistent grain. It is complimented by inlaid satinwood, as well as painted floral patterns. Along with the inlay and painting can be found a great deal of decorative brass trim. The sides and main door of this china cabinet are made of thick, beveled glass. The cabinet door has a working lock, and the piece comes with a decorative brass key. Inside the cabinet, at the bottom can be found a small drawer for a bit of extra storage. The shelves on the interior are also made of glass and provide a clear view of the whole interior. Overall, the condition of this antique rosewood china cabinet is good.   « Less
