This unique pair of antique andirons, or chenets, is created of hand-forged iron, dating from the 19th century. Each andiron begins with an impressive bronze flower adornment surrounded by scrolling volutes, demonstrating superior craftsmanship. The rod descends and separates in Manueline style and continues to voluted feet. These andirons are 13-1/4" wide, 31" tall, and the log supports extend 34-1/13" deep.

A wonderful pair of antique fireplace andirons, dating from the 19th Century and found in a home in Arlington, VA. Each andiron features a triangular body composed of volutes and a central foliate flourish, a stylized crown tops each one. These small andirons are made of cast iron and have a nicely aged patina with the expected wear. Each andiron measures 10-3/4†tall, 7-3/4†wide, and extends 10-1/2†from front to back.
