Wonderful 5 light, clam shell shade, chandelier from the 1930's. The light has a mixed metal pewter and brass finish. The shades are simply fantastic. No damage at all, and have extremely rich colors. This light has a drop of a mere 14 inches, but it could also be lengthened by adding a little extra chain. It has a diameter of 18 1/2”. It was totally re-wired in our UL shop, with new sockets and new lead wire. Each slip shade socket can easily take a 100 watt bulb. We are also supplying the bracket (crossbar) for this light, so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it. Beautiful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, made of crystal and glass with spear prisms. The chandelier begins at the top with its original chrome canopy, coming down to a gleaming loop finial, which attaches to a scalloped crystal baluster and dome hung with sparkling prisms. The dome tops the chandelier’s magnificent cut crystal balustrade body. Five S-shaped glass arms support elegant scalloped bobeches ornamented with prisms. The body rests in an intricate crystal bowl, which is adorned with spear prisms and finished with a hand-cut faceted glass sphere. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks; It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 20-1/4” wide, 28” tall, and 38-1/2" long overall.   « Less

This wonderful and uncommon copper-bronze finished chandelier has a very striking presentation. It is lovely and very '30s. This five light chandelier has been re-wired with new sockets, each capable of a 100 watt standard incandescent bulb. It was made during the 1930’s, and it has all matching amber shades with clear floral panels. The shades are in excellent condition without chips or cracks...only minor roughness where they go in and out of the fitter...but not seen when mounted and very minor in any case. And...they all match. Many Art Deco lighting dealers are charging $250 to $300 EACH for these shades. If you wish to consider value, just do the multiple of five...compare to our price for the entire re-wired chandelier and find true reasonability. Measurements: 23 inches in overall height, with a diameter of 14 1/2” inches from shade tip to shade tip. This chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. It is completely tested and ready to hang...just add bulbs. Lovely circa 1936 Streamline chandelier. Original antique chandelier, with original antique shades. Note how the shade fitters sweep up and hold the tapered shades so nicely. The rim of the fitter has been nicely reticulated, with design, to make the shade seem to mold right into the fixture. A very nice touch indeed. The frame is a contrast between black and nickel plating, as shown in the pictures. The frame is showing its age, like a good Persian carpet, but in no way can it be considered in bad condition. It simply is mellowed out after all these years. Nickel plating is more mellow than hard chrome, and gives a more aged ambiance to the fixture. The shades are custard glass with a simple pattern, and match the round areas of the frame quite well. They are in excellent condition. This chandelier has been completely re-wired, with new sockets and all new wire, in our UL shop. Measurements: The overall height is 22”. The overall diameter is 20 1/2”, measured from the outside edge of one shade, to the outside edge of the shade opposite. $935.00 for this neat chandelier, plus $50.00 for careful packaging and shipping within the contiguous 48 states. Fabulous antique Spanish Revival five arm chandelier, in its original cast brass finish, dating from the early 1900s. This chandelier begins in a canopy with a hammered finish, triquetra border, and geometric symbols. The light works down in chain to a decorative loop finial and leafy crown. The body features five undulating bands with foliate details; they meet in a bowl base with intricate pierced details of shields, flowers, armor, and foliage. Five U-shaped chandelier arms extend away from the body, each supporting a bobeche with decorative crenellations and triquetras. The underside of the chandelier ends in a gadrooned sunburst and hanging bronze finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 20-1/2" wide, 17-1/2" tall, and 39" long overall.   « Less

Pretty nice to find an unusual light, with hard-to-find shades, still in this condition. Normally these lights have opal white or simple frosted shades....but here we have the Art Glass type shades that are often called Puffy after the Pairpoint works glass offerings. The design is actually “puffed” out and then hand colored. Very attractive. Circa 1910 - 1920, it has been restored to fine condition and as can be seen, makes a great statement as to the antiquity of the light. For the photographs, we used low wattage bulbs to take the pictures so the automatic lens would not be blown-out by the strong light. Naturally, when you place normal bulbs into this chandelier, the shades will glow nicely and more warmly. This chandelier has been completely re-wired, with new sockets and all new wire, in our UL listed workshop. Measurements: The overall chandelier height is 31 1/2”. The diameter is 25”, shade tip to shade tip. $1,320.00 for the complete set with shades, and having been completely restored, re-wired and ready to hang...plus $50.00 for careful packaging and shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
