Beautiful winter scene watercolor painting by listed artist, Granville Perkins, New York, NY 1830-1895. Approximately 14 1/2" x 21" WITHOUT the frame. With the frame it measures 24" x 30 1/2". Signed lower left "Granville Perkins". He was a painter and illustrator. He was a pupil of J. Hamilton. This is a beautiful cabin scene, in the dead of winter. A mother and son making their way through the snow with their dog. Very well executed. Small 2 1/2" tear at top. Very good condition. Ready for hanging.   « Less

Wonderful oil on board painting of a bull's head. Approximately 15 1/4" WITHOUT the frame. With the frame it measures 19 3/4" in diameter. This painting is very well executed and is very unusual because most paintings are either square or rectangular in shape. This one is round and it also inverted like a bowl. It has an old restoration on the back that does not show at all in the front as you can see by the photo. There also is a gallery lable that says T. Wonderful amber vase with rolled top. I believe it may be Pairpoint. Approximately 6" tall. This vase has a nice deep amber color. The top rim is rolled over approximately 1". Unsigned but I believe it to be Pairpoint. The foot measures 4" in diameter. Very good condition. The only scatching is under the base from use.   « Less

Beautiful blue and white castle plate with historical pastoral scene. Approximately 10" in diameter. This plate has a beautiful border of Magnolia flowers. With a castle and pastoral scene in the center. Marked on the back with an eagle holding a ribbon in his beak that reads e pluribus unum. He also has a shield across his breast and a stack of arrows held with his feet. Impressed "4". The company name is also impressed but is covered with glaze so I can't make it out. Beautiful oil painting by German artist, August Mueller 1836-1885. Approximately 7 1/4" x 11" WITHOUT the frame and shadowbox. With the frame and shadowbox it measures 17" x 21". Wonderfully executed oil on board of two white chickens with a frog in their feeding bowl. Signed lower left, "Aug. Mueller, Munchen". Exhibition label on reverse. Mueller was born in Rottwell, Wurtemberg, January 13, 1836. Genre painter. Pupil of Stuttgart Art School under Rustige. He won several prizes and in 1865 settled in Munich. Even though frame is in shadowbox it is in need of repair. A few pieces broke off but are still inside shadowbox. This painting is very beautiful. It does not appear to have been out of the shadowbox but it looks like there may be some separation. Good condition.   « Less

ThisSCARCER jar handle was from the city of Mamshit and is struck with thekings insignia, the words -"To the King" "MMST". Detail photos below. Theinsignia read L M L K , M M S T. On this specimen six letters are readable (of eight) Four letters are complete and two partial, which are the L M L K and the M M (of M M S T). On this die the sunscroll seal is very well struck which automatically make it difficult for the S to show, because the S is underneath it and the handle is curved. (This offstrike is one of the many signs of a genuine Hezekiah handle). The handle measures: Length = 60mm, Width = 60mm at widest. Really an EXCELLENT and harder to find Quality Biblical Jar handle.
