A striking antique six-light Art Deco chandelier in its original silver plate over brass, dating from the 1930’s, with its original flashed glass panels. The chandelier begins with an Art Deco canopy ornamented with a zigzag border, coming down in a chain to a geometric loop finial. Five white flashed glass panels surround a light in the center of the chandelier. Piece of black glass extend between the flashed glass panels, crossed with silver lightning bolts. The chandelier arms are ornamented with volute detail, and each holds a black downward-facing bobeche with a ziggurat border and a pointed black finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures 19-1/2” wide and 19-1/4” tall, and the fixture is 34-1/2” long overall (all measurements approximate). NC1414-RW   « Less

A fantastic antique five-light wrought iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. This hand-riveted chandelier begins with a simple wrought iron canopy, coming down in a chain to a loop finial connected to a cluster of five chains, which support the chandelier body. The chandelier body is formed of a wide iron band with a crimped edge; five iron loops form the design on the inside of the chandelier. Curled wrought iron bands connect to the large ring, each supporting a torch-shaped bobeche. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This wonderful and uncommon copper-bronze finish chandelier has a very striking presentation. It is lovely and very 30's. This five light chandelier has been re-wired with new sockets...each capable of a 100 watt standard bulb. It was made during the 1930’s and it has all matching shades that are an amber with clear floral panels. The shades are in excellent condition without chips or cracks ...only minor roughness where they go in and out of the fitter...but not seen when mounted and very minor in any case. And..they all match. Many Art Deco lighting dealers are charging $250 to $300 EACH for these shades. If you wish to consider value, just do the multiple of five...compare to our price for the entire re-wired chandelier and find true reasonability. Measurements: 23 inches in overall height, with a diameter of 14” inches from shade tip to shade tip. This chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. It has five sockets and five opal shades around the outside circle, and one socket in the center behind those slices of white mica. Yes, those panels are white mica and are quite gorgeous when a nice bright bulb is alight behind them. This chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new original twisted rayon wire...since it is visible. It is completely tested and ready to hang...just add bulbs. Substantial antique eight arm brass chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and found in St. Louis. This chandelier begins in a canopy with beading, leaves, and gadrooned details, working down in chain to a trefoil loop finial. Below, the urn-shaped upper body has gadrooning and graceful curves. The lower body features S-shaped scrolls, and bead-and-reel trim. Eight elaborate scrolling chandelier arms have volute details and support gadrooned disc bobeches. The fixture finishes in a bowl-shaped base with a decorative finial. This chandelier is in very good condition with slight dents to one of the chandelier arms as pictured. This two-tone, five light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a gadrooned and foliate ceiling canopy, coming down in chain to a decorative loop finial. The upper chandelier body features a canopy of graduated crystal prisms, cascading out to a round silver band with a diamond and bead pattern. The chandelier continues in five tiers of sparkling crystal icicle prisms, and is finished in a hanging faceted glass ball. Because this light fixture retains all its original prisms, a few prisms may have minor chips. This large chandelier begins in a hand-hammered canopy, coming down in a single chain to a loop finial and bowl from which three separate chains extend. These chains support a round body made of two iron rings that feature solid circles and three striking fleur-de-lis. A round rod extends out from each fleur-de-lis to a twisted, wrought iron spear that is crowned by curling bands directly below the bobeche.
