A superb antique Spanish Revival cast iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. This five-light chandelier descends in a chain to a twisted hook resting on a hammered platform, with a hammered column below. At the base of the column, the chandelier comes out into five bands accented with leaves. The bands curve downward to support a hammered ring, from which extend five chandelier arms with hammered bobeches. The bottom of the chandelier finishes in a dangling finial accented with a curled leaf. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-1/4” wide and 15-3/4” tall to the top of the hook, and the fixture is 29-1/4” long overall.   « Less

Stunning antique five-light chandelier with a unique orb, dating from the early 1900s. This bronze fixture begins in a canopy with beading, foliate, and wavescroll details. It works its way down in chain to a decorative loop finial, surrounded by leaves that taper into five bands that comprise the body of the chandelier. These five brass bands gracefully undulate around a center pole made of celluloid or Bakelite. In the middle of this pole is a stunning globe of what we think is onyx. At the star-shaped base, five chandelier arms feature a hammered texture with decorative details on the underside; they extend out to support embellished piecrust bobeches. The chandelier finishes in a unique hanging finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. Dating from the 1930s, the chandelier features a decorative canopy and loop finial with flower. The chandelier body is composed of five brass sections ornamented with volutes, foliage, fluting, and floral accents. Original polychrome finish of red and green is featured throughout the body's decorative details. Each chandelier arm supports a bobeche with a pierced design and intricate finial. A center column of beautiful Bakelite runs the length of the chandelier, finishing in a final spear finial. Fabulous antique Tudor five-light chandelier, salvaged out of New York and dating from the 1920’s. This darkened nickel and bronze chandelier comes down in chain to a decorative finial and a crenellated bowl with a twisted spear finial. Five chains descend from the bowl, supporting the wide, round band that forms the chandelier body. This textured band features cut out quatrefoil details and crowning fleur-de-lis. Each chandelier arm attaches to the band with a bracket, and supports a crenellated bobeche with a hanging ring finial. This fixture has a beautifully aged finish and features a simple flush mount canopy which tapers down to a decorative disc layer. Five substantial chandelier arms extend up and out from the body, with shields at the base, an oval panel with a ship and original polychrome accents, topped by two crowned lions. A square fitter with decorative details tops each bobeche. The downward facing bobeches feature a hammered texture and leaf details with an exposed bulb underneath. The chandelier begins in a simple canopy with overlapping leaves, coming down in chain to a decorative brass finial surrounded by a cluster of leaves. A trio of scrolling iron bands form the chandelier body, coming together at the bottom of the chandelier. A C-shaped scroll attaches to each band with a floret, curling up to support a foliate bobeche. A smooth teardrop prism hangs from the center of the chandelier. Beautiful antique Neoclassical five-light silver plated chandelier, dating from the early 1900s. This chandelier begins in a decorative foliate canopy, coming down to a diamond loop finial with egg-and-dart details, with a second volute loop finial beneath. A baluster shaped upper body features a band of foliage and comes down to a wide disc lower body with an abstract diamond pattern. Five fluted chandelier arms attach to the disc and are crowned by a decorative leaf finial. The U-shaped arms curve down and back up to support double disc bobeches. The chandelier finishes in a tassel finial hanging from the base of the fixture. Gorgeous antique two-light Neoclassical chandelier with original hand cut iridescent glass shades, salvaged out of New York and dating from 1910. This silver plated chandelier has a decorative canopy with gadrooning, volutes, and foliate details. Two chains extend down from either side and support the arms of a lower body center piece. This disc-like body has anthemions, foliage, and guilloche trim with a hanging tassel finial. The body extends out in two chandelier arms with bellflower and volute details, each supporting its own downward facing shade. The fitters have gadrooned details and hold original iridescent glass shades. These shades feature amazing hand cut floral and vine details and a gracefully scalloped edge. This chandelier is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The fixture measures 15-1/4" wide, 11" tall, and 24-3/4" long overall.   « Less
