For sale is a wonderful oil on board painting of a flock of sheep with storm approaching. Approximately 8" x 5" WITHOUT the frame and 9 1/4" x 12 1/2" WITH the frame which is new and in good condition. Signed lower right F.Brissot. This picture shows a flock of sheep in the foreground with a storm approaching. There are houses in the distance and a wagon in the right rear. Felix Saturnin Brissot de Warville was French 1818-1892. Born Sens (Yonne); He was an animal painter. Pupil of Cogniet. Meda 2nd class , 1892. Works: In the Plain, The Thicket (1881); Sheep in Meadow (1882); Flock of Sheep, Leaving the Park(1883); Sheep at Rest, The Return (1884); Interior of Sheepfold, Return of the Flock (1885) He is listed in Benezit. For sale is a miniature Papago Indian basket with dogs. Approximately 2 1/4" in diameter. Beautifully decorated with a design of dogs. The artist is unknown but the basket is beautifully executed. I believe it to be horse hair. It looks to be in great condition. I have tried to take good quality photos. I am not a dealer in indian baskets. You be the judge. For sale is a wonderfully executed watercolor painting by Henry Sylvester Stannard, British 1870-1951. Approximately 21 3/4" x 28 1/4" WITH the frame. WITHOUT the frame it measures 13 3/4" x 20 1/4". Signed lower left H. Sylvester Stannard RBA (Royal British Academy). It is mounted in a Newcomb Macklin frame that is in excellent condition. Henry John Sylvester Stannard of Bedford was a painter known for his genre, landscapes, villages, farms, gardens, horsemen, boats, sheep and ducks. He was especially known for his watercolours of picturesque rustic cottage scenes. He studied at the Bedford Modern School and the National Art Training School. He won his diploma at 16 years old. He was a member of many art societies and was elected to the Royal Society of British Artists in 1896. He came from a family of artists but his is the most notable. Very good condition.   « Less

Decorated with a double pulled feather design. Rolled over lip at the top. There are vertical striations about an inch apart all around this beautiful vase. See photos. Marks include Louis C. In the photo of all 14, it is the 2nd from the left on the bottom row. The others have dates ranging from 1906, 1907, 1908, 1910 1911, 1921 & 1925. Some have no date at all. For sale is a gorgeous sterling silver repousse basket with handle by Tiffany & Company. Approximately 12 1/2" wide x 9" deep and 4 3/4" high WITHOUT the handle. WITH the opened handle it measures 11" high. It weighs 30.53 troy ounces. Presentation mark on inside pedestal, "FROM HARRY AND ELLA APRIL 26, 1876". This is one of the finest Tiffany repousse baskets I've seen. It is decorated with grapes & vines and leaves. There are 3 cartouches that are not monogrammed. One is on the handle and the other 2 on either side of the top. The swing handle is in very good condition. This basket is in wonderful estate condition with no dents or repairs. Marks include TIFFANY & Co, 4347 MAKERS 2360, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, M. The capital M was used by Tiffany & Company between the years of 1875-91. This is an exceptional addition to any table setting.   « Less
