A Royal Vienna handpainted mug. Austria, 19th century.Measures 3 3/8 inches high.The mug is divided into 2 wide and two narrower panels, seperated by gold scrolling patterns and stencil work. The panel on which the handle is attached and the one opposite it have an orange backgrounds on which bright summer flowers are painted. The alternating panels are handpainted with cherubs in woodland scenes. Gilded handle. Underneath the mug has a blue underglaze beehive mark. Condition is good with acceptable wear to the gilding on the rims and handle, but no damage/chips/cracks or loss of paint. Demitasse miniature cup and saucer decorated with pink and red roses. Has Royal Vienna mark and dates to late 19th - early 20th century.Saucer is 4inches in diameter. Cup is 1 3/4inches high.Very narrow waisted elegant cup with round bowl and scrolling handle. Both cup and saucer have fine stencilled silver decoration surrounded by rings of pink and red roses.Marked underneath with blue Royal Vienna beehive mark.Condition is very good. There is a spiderweb age crack (surface only) under the saucer that in no way detracts from the pretty set. Miniature portrait on Old Paris porcelain, made in 19th century France. Measures 4'' high. Cylindrical in form. Pale pink/salmon colour. Central medallion surrounded by gold and green borders and fleur de lis. Inside is portrait of a French noblewoman or court beauty, wearing the royal colours of yellow and purple. Very French features and attire. Very finely painted detail. Stands on 3 gilded knob-shaped feet. Condition is good. Cup and saucer by Royal Worcester, England, 1922. Surface richly gilded, signed and handpainted with fruit & foliage by top Worcester artists Horace H Price and Albert Shuck.Cup is 2 1/8inch high and 3 3/8inch in diameter. Saucer is 5 1/2inches in diameter.Outside of cup and handle are richly gilded as is center of saucer. Cup painted with grapes and plums in a landscape/ amidst foliage and signed HH Price. Saucer is similarly painted with apples, cherries, both red and purple and foliage. It is signed A. Shuck.Both items have puce marks underneath. A star with 3 dots on either side indicates the date, 1922.Condition is very close to MINT. There is a minute white fleck on the saucer. A good hand painted Nippon cup and saucer with ''Wedgwood'' decoration. Japan, late 19th century.Saucer measures 5 5/8inches in diameter. Cup is 2inches high.The ground is pale blue, very fine porcelain, glazed inside. Fine enough for light to shine through it. Hand painted / sculpted spriggs of flowers and butterflies, resemble Wedgwood jasperware, but shaded to show depth in a sculptural way. Dark brown borders to both pieces. Handle of cup has small applied ''spines''. Bottom of saucer has a green mark with Mnt Fuji, HAND PAINTED and JAPAN.Condition is very good. No chips/cracks. Superbly enamelled 6 pairs of cups and saucers, made by Crown Ducal, England, early 20th century.Saucer is 5 7/8inch in diam. Cup is 2 1/4inches high and 3 3/4inches in diam on the top. Magnificent hand enamelled tulip & freesia decoration on a pale yellow ground. Borders are in mustard yellow, blue and red. Mustard yellow enamelling is used on the rims of all pieces.Each piece is marked CROWN DUCAL WARE ENGLAND (not Made in England) and has various marks, presumably of the enameller, painter and modeller.Very good condition. One cup has a fleabite chip on the rim - easilly restored..Part of a dinner and tea service that we have divided into seperate groups because of disparate numbers eg teapot, sugar, creamer, plates, servers, extras.
