For Sale I have a wonderful piece of Art Glass made by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn of Eleonorenhain Bohmen (Bohemia). This is now the modern day "Czech Republic". The Vase is in what we would call a Squat Form. It is a pleasing size as it stands 4 5/8" tall and is 5 3/4" in diameter. The Vase display a very nice Satin Green base glass with Red Applied Mottling throughout the lower half of the Vessel. It display a very nice iridescence as you can see hues of Fuchsia and Purples. The Green Base Glass is very Similar to Steuben's Verre de Soie (Glass of Silk). It feels like it to the touch and also appears very similar in appearance. The raised neck about the Shoulder give this piece that much needed added height. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The Top of the lip is polished as is typical of European Art Glass. This means it was blown from the top and the Cut from the Blowing pipe and Polished Smooth. This is why there is not a counter sunk Polished Pontil on the bottom. The piece is signed "CZECHOSLOVAKIA" in block letters along the bottom. The signature mark is in a straight line along the edge. This is a quality piece of Art Glass Rarely found. I search all of my reference Books and on-line and I could not find a similar example. This leads me to believe it is somewhat Rare and not so commonly found. This Vase will work well for those decorating in the Art Deco theme. For Sale I have a Beautiful and very well Executed Crystal Perfume Bottle made by "Lalique" of Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace-Lorraine, France. This wonderful piece of Crystal Art Glass is known as the "Deux Fleurs" Perfume Bottle. The Perfume stands 3 1/2" tall and is 3 5/8" wide and 1 1/16" deep. The Perfume Bottle displays Two Conjoined Flowers which appear to be "Sunflowers". The Detail is outstanding as is expected from an Early Lalique piece. You can see the detailed ribbing in the outer flower petals as well as the round Seeds in the Center. The Face on both sides has a Frosted Look with Clear Crystal behind. The Stopper is even in the same Sunflower appearance in the Shape of the round seedy center. The Perfume is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks. nicks, chips or dings. This is true for the Bottle and the Stopper. This is amazing that this has survived almost 70 years without an issue. The piece is signed with the early stenciled sand-blasted "LALIQUE FRANCE" mark. This is an early mark that was used just after R "Rene" Lalique's death in 1945. They used this mark from 1945-1948. This Perfume bottle is known as shape number "529" in the early Lalique Catalogs. This Perfume was created in September 1935 exclusively for the House of Lalique as a container for one's favourite fragrance. There have been several of these on Ebay in the past few months. I don't recall seeing any of them from this time frame. They were all signed with the modern laser-etched mark "Lalique with the Registered "R" in a circle "France" Trademark. (note the use of the ®, which is not found on earlier pieces). These Perfumes are much later as that mark dates it from the 1980's forward. Subsequently there is a big Price difference. Today this piece Retails for as much as $425 new in the Box. Here is your chance to own a very early version of these piece for less than that!!   « Less

For Sale I have a Fabulous piece of Art Glass made by Phoenix Studios of California. The piece is called a "Jack in the Pulpit" (JIP) Art Glass Vase. The "JIP" is a rather Large one as it stands an Impressive 14" 3/4" Tall and the Face of the Pulpit has a diameter of 8". The Bottom or foot of the vase has a diameter of 4". The Blue Favrile, Aurene Iridescence is just outstanding!! You can see beautiful hues of Purples, Gold and Fuchsia all over the JIP. The Base glass is a deep Cobalt Blue and the edges surrounding the face of the Pulpit when held to the light illuminates with a Gold Border. It is Just a spectacular Piece of Art Glass!! This Piece of Glass is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The Jack in the Pulpit is signed on the bottom with a "Phoenix Studios Carl Radke" foil label. It also has an etched Artist Signature that reads; Carl Radke "06". This means the piece was made in 2006. Carl Radke is very much a Gifted Artist that produces Art Glass Vases similar in quality to the Glass Blowers from Tiffany, Steuben, and Quezal. His works are in many Museums across the nation. This Vase is an Investment in today's Artist's that will surely become tomorrow's Heirlooms. Those of you who collect Art Glass know that the Blue Examples are Worth Substantially more than their Gold Counter Parts. For Sale I have a wonderful piece of Art Glass blown by Josef Rindskopf of Bohemia which is now modern day Czech Republic. The Item is call a "Pinched Tri- Fold Decorated Green Glat" Vase. The Vase stands 9 3/8" tall. The bottom bulbous area has a diameter of 4 1/2" and the top of the vase is 4 1/4" in diameter. This Vase is one for those who are looking to collect Rare Excellent Examples of Rindskopf Art Glass. The Vase has a Pinched Form on Three Sides and a Tri-Fold Top. This is very Art Nouveau in Style. The Vase Depicts a Pulled Feather Decor over a Teal Green Base Glass when held to the light. It has an outstanding Feathering effect starting at the Tri-Fold Top and it works it way to the bottom with 10 distinct fingers rolling into the bottom curvature. The Green Favrile, Aurene Iridescent is Good as is the Iridescence in the decorated Feather Pulls. You can see some White with Purple and Teal colors. When held to the light it is truly beautiful. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is unsigned as is the Case with Rindskopf pieces of Art Glass. They more than likely had a paper label. The Vase does have the Countersunk Polished Pontil, the sign of Quality Art Glass. I have been a collector and dealer for some 35+ years. I have only seen a few of these Vases with this Colored Decor. I would I also want to point out the Decoration and execution of this Vase is very Similar to Loetz. This leads me to believe that Rindskopf blew some of Loetz's shapes for export at the turn of the Century. I'm sure the lucky Buyer will cherish this Vase for years to come. For sale I have a wonderful Victorian Art Glass Finger Bowl and Under Plate made by The Stevens & Williams Company of Stourbridge, West Midlands England. The Finger Bowl and Plate are done in the ever so popular Cranberry with Amber Machine Threaded Edges. The Two Pieces together stand 3" tall. The Finger bowl itself stands 2 5/8" tall and is 5" in diameter. The Plate Stands 1" tall and is 5 7/8" in diameter. The Finger Bowl and the Under Plate both have ruffled edges, eight to be exact. They both display a very lovely Cranberry background Glass with Machine Threaded edges in an Amber Glass. The Detail in the threading is just outstanding. It is so precise, yet graceful in form and execution. The Finger Bowl and Plate are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, or chips. There is no loss to any of the threads on either the Bowl or the Plate. The only issue is a thread skip on the bottom starting thread on the Bowl and both pieces have tiny, tiny flea nicks to a only few threads. This can only be seen when held up to the light. This is fairly common as these were used items and they are extremely delicate. The two Pieces Have no signature mark but they both have a Polished Counter Sunk Pontil. This is the sign of quality Hand-blown Art Glass. When I first found this set several years ago I first thought they were Steuben. I quickly learned they were earlier and were made from the same Company in England that Frederick Carder immigrated from. It's possible he was there when these were made. Frederick Carder (1864-1963) Worked at Stevens & Williams 1881-1902 known for museum quality works in the Art Nouveau style. (Also founded Steuben Glass Works in Corning, New York in 1903) This is quality Art Glass from the Victorian Era and I'm positive the lucky winner will not be disappointed. These would enhance any Art Glass Collection even those who collect L.C. T. Favrile, Steuben Aurene, Durand, and Quezal. This Finger Bowl and Under Plate were made circa 1880-1895.   « Less

For Sale I have a Fabulous Vase made by The Alton Manufacturing Company of Sandwich, Mass. This Vase is know as a "Trevaise" and its pattern is done in one of the most sought after by Art Glass Collectors. The Pattern is called "Pulled Feathers" and it is simply Gorgeous!! I would call the shape a Swollen Shoulder Form. This is probably one of the nicest executed decorated Vases by Trevaise that I have ever owned. The Vase stands 6" tall and is 3 1/2" in diameter. The Vase has a very pleasing form and the Colors are spectacular. The two toned greens with Gold Feathering on top is simply Beautiful. When holding the Vase and turning the Iridescence is just outstanding. You can see beautiful Hues of Fuchsia, Purples, Gold's and Greens. The Feathering is pulled from the bottom to the top of the Vase. The Feathers are very wide at the bottom and as they are Pulled towards the top they compact and display the appearance of a Peacocks Feathering. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is the usual Factory imperfections in the finish like Pock (Bubble, Inclusions) Marks around the piece. I am told this is very common with the Trevaise pieces. The Vase is not signed on the bottom but it does display that counter sunk polished Pontil. The is the mark of Quality Art Glass and typical of the American Art Glass Movement. Many of these vases have counterfeit L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile Signature Marks. I am very Happy to announce that this one does NOT. When I first bought this I though it was a Tiffany Vase but my expert Friend informed me differently. It is what it is and it carries its own established Value in the Art Glass world. The Alton Manufacturing Company produced an Art Glass Line called "Trevaise". This line was supervised by a former Tiffany Studios glassblower, James H. Grady. He was in charge of its production. Their Art Glass Productions was meant to look just like L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile and Quezal Art Glass. These Art Glass pieces resembled Tiffany and Quezal Glass both in form and Technique. Several of the Glass Blowers from Tiffany Studios and Quezal worked in this Studio producing extremely close copies of Favrile Glass. The Company was only in business for 1 year, 1907-1908 and it didn't prove profitable. Trevaise Vases are much Rarer than Tiffany and are considered not to be equal in Value. If this was a real Tiffany Vase it would probably sell for $5000-$6000. Of course, this is much less than a Tiffany Vase of similar form and Decoration. Here is your chance to own a very Rare piece of Art Glass made for 1 year and 1 year only. I'm sure the Buyer will not be disappointed!! For sale I have a wonderful Art Glass piece made by Loetz of Bohemia which is now the modern day "Czech Republic". I have a Rare and very hard to find Nut or Ruffled Finger Bowl. The Bowl stands 1 1/4" tall and is 4 3/4" in diameter at its widest point. The Bowl displays a very nice Pea Green base glass. It is has an 8 Ruffled Border that is very similar to LCT Tiffany Favrile's Bowls. It displays very nice detailed Swirl Ribs that start at the Pontil underneath and rise up to the top edge of the Bowl. There are approximately 24 of these Swirling Ribs throughout the piece. The inside of the Bowl has brilliant iridescence. You can see beautiful hues of Platinum Blues, Purples and Fuchsia. The back side of the bowl does not have any iridescence at all. The Nut or Finger Bowl is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. I see no signs of iridescence loss either. The piece is unsigned but it does have a counter sunk polished pontil, the Sign of Quality Art Glass. When I first came across this piece I thought it was Steuben's Jade Green but I knew of no Jade Green that was iridized. I conferred with my New York Art Glass friends and they all agree it is definitely Loetz as this was my second choice. This is a quality piece of Art Glass that is considered Rare and not commonly found. I firmly believe Loetz created this item to compete against the Tiffany Favrile Table Sets. There have been very few of these examples surfacing in the last 10 years and suspect there was a very limited production. I sure the lucky buyer will be delighted with their purchase. For Sale I have an extremely large Art Glass Vase made by The Steuben Glass Company of Corning, New York. This is from my personal collection. The Vase is done in Frederick Carder's Most Highly Collected Gold Aurene Glass. I call this a XXX LG Magnum Vase because of its size. The correct classification would be considered a "Tapered Shoulder Vase". The Vase is rather Large as it Stands 10 3/8" Tall and has a Whopping Diameter of 10" at the Shoulder. The top inside opening has a diameter of 3 3/4" and an outside one of 5 1/4". The bottom or foot of the vase is 4 7/8" in diameter. The Circumference of the Vase at the shoulder is an amazing 31 5/8" around. The Gold Iridescence or luster is just unbelievable!! My camera cannot pick up the brightness of the gold as the light reflects so strongly off of it. You can see beautiful hues of Fuchsias and Blues within the Iridescence. The Blue Platinum iridescence at the bottom of the Vessel is simply Outstanding!! In the neck of the Vessel is some of the finest tones if Fuchsia I have ever seen on a Steuben piece of Art Glass. The Gold Aurene Luster on this vase is more brilliant than any LCT Tiffany Favrile Gold I have ever owned. The vase looks like it was made Pure Gold a metal, yet it is so fragile as it is really glass. This is a large piece of Art Glass and was considered to be extremely difficult to blow and keeps its shape simply because of its size. The Vase is considered to be in excellent to Mint condition as there is very minor issues to report. There are only a few minor scratches in the iridescence. I have pictured 1 area on the Vase where it appeared to Rub against something and shows some Iridescence wear. The is also a another area I have pictures a few horizontal lines or scratches with minor iridescence loss. There is some imperfections in the Iridescence but this is typical of hand made class. There are also a few pin size iridescence loss. My camera makes these look much larger than they really are as I have 10X zoom capabilities. Overall this Huge piece of Art Glass in really in outstanding condition for it size and age. The Vase does have a counter sunk Polished Pontil, the sign of Quality Art Glass. The piece is signed "Steuben Aurene 2683" in their etched mark on the Glass. You can tell always tell Steuben's Gold from Tiffany's gold as Steuben's texture of the glass is very smooth like a baby's butt and the Tiffany Gold has a rougher texture. Purchase with confidence as quality Art Glass especially of this size is becoming almost impossible to find in excellent condition. Steuben's Aurene was registered in 1904, and ceased production in 1932. This is a very nice example of Steuben's Gold Aurene in both form and Iridescence. This vase is guaranteed to be made by Steuben Glass or a full refund including shipping both ways. You Steuben and Tiffany Collectors of Art Glass, don't let this one slip by!!!! I believe this piece to have been made circa 1910-1915. This was one of the hardest Vases for me to take pictures of. The Gold was so Brilliant that it reflected back into the Camera. This Vase in person is much, much better than I could capture with my camera!!   « Less
