This is a piece of Austrian amphora that is signed and numbered. It has the crown for Imperial, Austria and amphora in ovals. There is a number 11028/68 and a circle with Turn Teplitz and a space where the PD might have been. The vase is textured brown to turquoise in variations of color. The top is beige with gold overtones. The center is pale green with painted brown trees on both sides. The hips down are molded applied flowers in shades of pink and white centered with what is called a porcelain jewel. Under the flowers is heavy golden veining as stems. There are four small feet and golden long decorative handles. There is some gold loss on the lip and handles typical of usage. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is a stunning vase that does have have a sister piece available in less than perfect condition to be sold in another transaction, at a lessor price . This is a stunning old English porcelain vase highlighted with cobalt blue, golden accents and handpainted dogwood flowers on both sides. There is even a spattering of moriage areas that add drama. The vase is conical with a wide flared top lip and two blue gold and white handles. The painting goes down into the throat of the vase which is in excellent condition. This is a graceful Art Nouveau amphora poppy vase by RstK made between 1900-1908. It is tall, beautifully shaped and decorated. The number on the bottom is 533/14. It is stamped Made in Austria Turn Teplitz Bohemia. The vase has a high pale green leaf handle and lava lips shaded in gold. The lip which should have held either a damsel or an applied flower is severly damaged as shown in the picture. Some pale green and spots of gold are missing. That does not take away from the beauty or usefulness of the vase. Moving down the vase is a grouping of gilt edged poppies in pale lavender and pale peach. There are also berries and tiny yellow flowers that extend to the base. The back is also decorated in a smaller version o the poppy theme. The colors are bright blue, yellows with pink and yellow flowers. The lip of the vase has a black and white checkerboard pattern. This is a unique Austrian amphora vase that consists of four small vases attached to each other by applied vines. The vines have applied berries and smaller stems. The basic color is iridescent blue with hints of pink and gold. The berries are yellow and red. There is the usual damage to the stems as shown in the photo and one factory tear shaped slip in the finish. It is still a charming decorative and useful object of art. This is a lovely scenic vase by Josef Strnact of Austria. It was made around 1900. The vase is 8 1/2'' tall with a full scenic panel that covers both the front and back. The front shows a cherry tree in full blossem backed by Cypress trees. The back shows several tiny figures walking along a tree lined path. The puffy cloud filled sky is shown on both sides. The vase is signed JS in the shield mark and 7903. The condition is very good with some slight loss of gold at the top rim. This is a lovely chic decorative object. Perfect for Spring flowers.
