For sale I have a very nice piece of Pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is "Wincraft" and it is done in the more popular Blue Glaze and the shape is a Basket. The Basket stands 8" tall, and is 9 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" deep.
The Basket has a lovely Hi Gloss two tone Blue Glaze. The Lighter blue is a Robins Egg Blue and it is accented with a Deeper Blue Green Glaze along the bottom third. The Vase displays Embossed Mountain Laurel Flowers blooming off of a stem rising up from the bottom Blue Green Leaves. It has a wonderful Art Deco Shape. The Buttress Style Handle Accents this piece wonderfully well giving it a very strong appearance.
The Basket is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The only issue to mention is a glaze skip on the underside of one side of the handle. The piece is signed on the bottom with "Roseville U.S.A." in raised relief along with the mold number 208-8" also in raised relief.
I'm not usually crazy about Hi Gloss Glazes but this line is a very beautiful and pleasing line. It was created late in Roseville's years as the Basket was made Circa 1948.
This was never a really successful line and there are not many examples on the market. Roseville Pottery was out of business by 1954. Those of you who Collect Wincraft and want an excellent example in both Form and Glaze Combination will surely welcome this piece of Art Pottery into their Collection. « Less

For sale I have a nice piece of pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Shape is a Rose Bowl Vase and the pattern is "Atlas". The Vase stands 4 1/8" tall and is approximately 6 1/8" in diameter.
The Vase is all about the form and has a nice Rose Bowl shape with a Star shaped opening to hold your flowers or plant. The outside is glazed in a Robins Egg Blue or Turquoise while the interior and the star opening are glazed in a complimentary Cream color. This is a rare form to come across and not seen very often.
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. The piece is signed with Weller's in-mold script signature as well as the Artist Signature "R". This is the finisher's mark however I am not sure whose signature it is. This Vase is also known as shape C-3.
The Vase is from Wellers Late Period, Circa 1935-1948. « Less

For sale I have lovely Vase made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Baldin" and the piece is just delightful. The Vase measures 7" tall More »
For sale I have lovely Vase made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Baldin" and the piece is just delightful. The Vase measures 7" tall and is 4" in diameter at the bottom and the top has a diameter of 2 1/2".
This Vase has a wonderful Blending of Green and Brown, Earth Tone Glazes. The Vase displays several very realistic looking Apples. The Apples are hanging from Branches and are Ripe, Plump and some are ready for Picking. The leaves have very nice coloring in them as well. The Apples are glazed in Red with Yellow and slight hues of green. I believe they are Macintosh Apples or "Macs" as we say here in the Northeast.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is a Clay inclusion on one of the apples but that was made that way. The bottom has rough spots where the Vase sat. This is common with the Baldin Vases as that happened when it was fired. The piece is not signed but there is no mistaken that this was made by the Weller Pottery Company.
This Weller Baldin Vase has some wonderful coloring and detail. I'm sure the lucky winner will not be disappointed with their Purchase. This Vase will work in any Mission, Arts and Crafts or Country Decor. In Fact, I think it will work with most decors including primitives.
The Vase was produced during Weller's early Middle Period. This piece was made Circa, 1915-1920. « Less

For sale I have a nice piece of pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Shape is a Ewer or Pitcher and the pattern is "Cameo". The Ewer stands 9 More »
For sale I have a nice piece of pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Shape is a Ewer or Pitcher and the pattern is "Cameo". The Ewer stands 9 3/4" tall and is 5" in diameter.
The Vase depicts an Embossed White or Cream colored Rose and newly formed Rosebud. They are set upon a Branch in a Three Leaf Cluster. These are set on a Robins Egg Blue or Turquoise Background Glaze. The Vase has some Art Deco features in its Form in that its Handle has sharp angular lines to the outside of it while the interior of the Handle is rounded and quite uniquely molded. There are Vertical Ribs or Panels in the Background and there is a horizontal Raised band in the center of the piece giving it a waist. The bottom portion of this Vase is very Bulbous and the overall shape of this piece reminds me of Jeannie's Bottle from "I Dream of Jeannie".
The Vase or Ewer is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. The piece is signed with Weller's in-mold script signature as well as the Artist Signature "K". This is attributed to L. Knaus according to my reference books.
The Vase is Circa 1935-1939.

For sale I have a Lovely piece of Pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is "Cornish" and the form is a Vase. The Vase measures 8 1/2" More »
For sale I have a Lovely piece of Pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is "Cornish" and the form is a Vase. The Vase measures 8 1/2" tall and is approximately 4" in diameter at the widest point. The rim measures approximately 1 3/4" wide.
The Vase depicts a Mottled Caramel or Terra Cotta colored Background Glaze. Weller considered this their Brown in this line. There are embossed leaves with a stem that has berries hanging from it. The Leaves overlay three rings that surround the Vase and there are Mock Scroll Handles applied on each side. The back of the Vase is Plain except for the Mottled Glaze. The leaves have an Olive Green Hue to them and three of the Berries are Glazed in a Dark Blue. The other three are Glazed in a Pale Green as if they have not ripened as of yet.
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The Vase is signed on the bottom with the incised Script"Weller Pottery" as well as the letter "B" in Black. This was more than likely the Artist or the finisher's mark. This Vase will work well in any Arts and Crafts of Mission setting as well as a Country decor.
The Vase was made Circa 1933. « Less

For sale I have a Lovely piece of pottery made by the Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The shape is a Jardiniere and the pattern is known as "Etna". The Jardiniere More »
For sale I have a Lovely piece of pottery made by the Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The shape is a Jardiniere and the pattern is known as "Etna". The Jardiniere measures 7" tall and is approximately 9 7/8" in diameter at its widest point. The inside opening is approximately 8 1/8" in diamter.
The Jardiniere depicts Embossed Roses in Full Bloom on Trailing Stems and Leaf Clusters. The piece is Slip-decorated and the Backgound Glaze starts as a Mossy Gray, Green at the Top of the Jardiniere and graduates to a very soft gray to Ivory at the bottom. The Roses are a Pastel Pink with some Lavender Hues to complete the look. What a nice addition this would be to a Victorian decor or someone adding Romance through Florals.
The Jardiniere is considered to be in Excellent Condtion as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. There are a few small Glaze misses but not noticable as they are insignificant and not post factory. The Jardiniere is signed with the impressed Weller" Block Signature. It is truly amazing this pot has survived over 100 years and in such great shape!
The Jardiniere was made Circa 1906. « Less

For Auction I have a wonderful piece of Art Pottery made by The Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is "Malverne or Malvern" as it is spelled both ways. The Shape is considered a Bud Vase. The Vase measures8 1/4" tall and is 4" in diameter at its widest point. The opening of the Vase is 2" wide inside measurement.
The Vase displays wonderful Raised or Embossed Leaves and a Yellow Bud on a Twig or Branch that swirl from the bottom of the piece up to about the neck. This was done on a Tree Bark textured background. The lower background has a Dark Chocolate Mottled background Glaze that blends into more of a caramel color towards the top. The top rim is accented with the Darker Brown to finish the look. What a nice Organic feel this Vase has!!
The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The Piece is unsigned but guaranteed to be Weller "Malvern". There is a letter "H" or "I" written in Grease Pencil. This was more than likely the finishers mark.
The piece was made Circa 1927-1933. « Less
