A hard-to-find pair of antique pocket door locks, made and signed by Hopkins & Dickinson, patent dated Nov. 11, 1884. These cast bronze mortise locks feature a stylized floral design on a finely ribbed background. One lock has a concave faceplate, and the other is convex, so that they fit together well when the doors are closed. The locks feature a push-button system with a pop-out handle. Each lock has a 1" x 7" faceplate, and each lock body measures 5" tall and 3-1/2" deep. The keyhole has a 2-1/4" backset.

The doorknobs feature a fivefold design with volutes and leaves around a center button; the door plates have a volute design accented by scrolling foliage and ovals. The door knobs measure 2-1/4†in diameter and 2†deep; the plates are 2-3/8†wide by 8-1/4†tall. Each set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle and set screws, and a pair of doorplates (enough hardware for one door).
