Circa 1904. Tall hand painted porcelain vase. This fine large vase is brilliantly hand-painted with large multi-colored flowers which I believe are peonies. Red, purple pink and white blossoms adorn this vase all painted by a skilled hand and boldly artist signed on the base "Berry". The back round colors are shaded greens and pinks and there is an abundance of green leaves around the flowers. The vase is finished with a deep gold collar around the lip. Marked on the base H&Co., Selb, Bavaria for the fine German porcelain maker Heinrich. Very fine original condition with wear only to the very top gold rim. Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. 12" tall x 6 1/2" widest.   « Less

Large English Aesthetic Movement double handled mantel vase. Exceptional color and decoration make this tall elegant vase a stand out and another fine example of the "Anglo-Japanesque" style popular on both sides of the Atlantic during the last quarter of the 19th century. Beautifully decorated on all sides with large flowers and a large flying bird on the face side. The winged neck and flared base are both a deep Chinese red with heavy, applied, raised gold decoration which is also found as high points on the flowers. The two elaborate handles are also heavily gold gilded. Un-marked except for the English Registration mark for the year 1891 on the base. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Good condition with light crackle to the glaze and some wear to the gilding on the base rim. 14 1/2" tall x 7 3/4" wide x 6" deep.   « Less

Large pair of "Vienna Style" painted mantel vases. Each vase features a different dramatic painted scene in a large oval panel and a second smaller front panel with a white back round and scene in gold of a swan on water. Each vase also has several other small white with gold panels. The basic back round color is a jewel toned red with lots of gold decoration, much of it raised. The large panels are beautifully done with very fine color and detail and are signed " Lisbel". Very good original condition, with wear to the gilded top rim on one, the second vase has a tight hairline crack and filled small chip to the flared rim. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Large, beautifully decorated Royal Bonn vase. This lovely piece of 19th century German porcelain features large brilliantly colored flowers, all outlined in gold. The back round color is a soft cream and there is lots of brushed gold around the flowers and also brushed gold trim around the base and top. Charming Royal Dux figural vase. This is a very good example of the fine work of Royal Dux in the early 20th century. This vase features a mountain goat looking around and leaning against a vase that is molded and colored to look like a rocky mountain trail. The goat is cream colored with brown hi-lights. The "rocks" are greenish brown with gold hi-lights. Fully marked Royal Dux Bohemia, with the acorn and "E" that dates it to 1900-18. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.
