American Art Deco Pair of Slip Shade Wall Sconces by Lincoln
A great set of Art Deco sconces made by Lincoln Mnf Co, Detroit, MI in the mid 30s.
Lincoln called the group that these sconces came from the "Oriental Reversible," which had a fancy logo that also said "Two in One" with a picture of a large 1 with a 2 inside of it. They were quite proud that they found a way to use a shade either upwards...or downwards without any changes. And...yes...these shades can be turned upside down too.
Lincoln's catalog described this series as such: "The shades on these fixtures can be used either up or down. Simply lift off and rehook in a reversed position."
The frames still maintain a bit of touches of color, and the finish is totally original.
The deeply carved shades are gold-amber and in good...remarkable...condition for their age.
Measurements:
* Height: 10" overall.
* Width: 4 ½" maximum.
* Projection: 6" from the wall into the room.
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our registered UL shop with new sockets and rotary switches. Sockets are capable of up to 100 watts. If using incandescent light bulbs, we recommend using a maximum of 60 - 65 watts to prevent heat damage to the antique slip shades. More light output can be achieved by using LED or compact fluorescent light bulbs. These efficient bulbs yield more light without excessive heat.
All mounting hardware will be supplied.
$825.00 for the complete pair of sconces, which have been re-wired with their original shades.
$25.00 for careful packing and Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

Art Deco Six Shade Top-of-the-Line Chandelier by Mid-West
Art Deco Mid-West design six shade chandelier with great amber shades. From the 1930s.
Interesting that Mid-West used the same finial on this fixture as they used with their Soleure line, as it is such an iconic design and representative of their fine company.
Mid-West was an outstanding company that survived the Depression that took many other light manufacturers out. They had a high standard that they never lowered, and their resulting work shows just that.
This fine light has an original old gold metal finish in outstanding condition for its age.
The amber shades are also in simply great condition.
Measurements:
* Height: 30 ½"
* Diameter: 19 ½"
The height can be lengthened by adding chain. Please contact us for pricing.
This chandelier has been totally re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and new lead wire. Sockets are rated for up to 100 watts. We are also supplying the bracket (crossbar) for this light, so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.
Really a nice light.
Price: $1,375.00, plus $50.00 for careful packing and shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

Very Unusual Art Deco Odeon Style British Motif Theatre Table Lights
Very neat shell motif set of British theater table lamps from England.
These lights are often called "Odeon," since one of the main movie house chains in Britain named all their theaters "Odeon." They vary in style...most popular was THIS shell motif. In older British theaters, you can still see them existing where they have been for over half a century, or more. Odeon is sometimes a synonymous term for a movie theater in Britain. Saying, "Let's go to the Odeon" is the same as saying, "Let's go to the movies."
Saying all that...this is the first pair of Odeon table lamps that we have ever had. Don't know what they were used for...but they did have British bayonet pin sockets in them when received.
The table lamps have brass bases, which have an antiqued bronze finish.
We have rewired these sconces to UL American standards with new American sockets in our UL shop. They do have short cords with in-line switches.
Measurements:
* Height: 12 ½"
* Width: 9" (shade)
* Base Footprint: 6 ¾" x 6 ¾"
These fine lamps use medium base bulbs, either incandescent, or twisting CFL, or LED.
Price: $715.00 for this great pair of UL rewired Odeon table lamps with their amber shades...plus shipping charges.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Art Deco Odeon Theatre Antique 3 Clamshell Slip Shade Chandelier
A very neat shell motif British theatre chandelier. This chandelier (and the sconces that match it) are often called Odeon Lights, since the main movie house chain in Britain has named all their theatres Odeon. In fact...Odeon is often a synonymous term for a movie theatre, i.e. "Let's go to the Odeon." This chandelier was used with frosted, amber, and even pink tinted shades around the turn of the century. In older British theaters, you can still see them existing where they have been for over half a century, or more.
The shades came out in the pictures just a touch darker than they really are. I would say an accurate description of the shade color would be light amber, NOT as dark as the pictures appear.
There is minor rubbing on the frame (pictured) due to its age, which should not affect the impression of the fixture, but we thought to mention it.
Measurements:
* Height: 17" tall, measured from the top of the canopy to the bottom of the finial.
* Width: 14 ½"
We have rewired this chandelier to UL American standards in our UL listed shop, with a new American center socket cluster for three light bulbs. One bulb lights each shade, so 300 watts can be achieved with this chandelier if 100 watt bulbs are used.
The chandelier is ready to hang with an American standard mounting kit, which we will supply.
Price: $874.50 for the chandelier, complete with LIGHT amber shades which might be shown just a touch darker than they really are...plus shipping charges.
$50.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Antique Art Deco Slip Shade Fenwick Pendant Circa 1933
Authentic Art Deco, slip shade, polychrome painted 2 shade pendant, circa 1933. The finish, while being cleaned up a mite, is original and simply beautiful to the max. Hard to find a much nicer antique slip shade pendant than this one.
Wonderful condition. The shades are simply a treat, and in remarkable condition. Probably made by Consolidated Glass, or another quality glass house.
Since we are curators of the Kelly Art Deco Light Museum, we can tell you a bit about this light. It was made by a firm in Cleveland, Ohio called: The Frankelite Co. They had a logo which was a stylized "F" in a diamond device, and issued their products under the trade name of Diamond Lighting Equipment. This light, Circa 1933, was part of their "Fenwick Series".
Frankelite was a rather small firm that very little is known about. We have a few examples of their work, and they are always rather unique and attractive stand-alone lights. The name and date of these fixtures has been verified by literature from the company as 1933.
Measurements:
* Height: 19" overall.
* Spread: 10" x 10"
Height can be adjusted lower by adding chain links. Please contact us for pricing.
The chandelier has been totally rewired with high grade sockets, and new central lead wire in our UL shop. Capable of up to 100 watts per socket, for a total of 200 watts.
Price: Completely re-wired UL antique pendant by Fenwick: $935.00 plus careful shipping.

Late Art Deco Pair of Sconces Circa 1938
Nice pair of wall sconces. Original antique backplates, and original antique shades.
These sconces have a close-to-Streamline appearance. The dark pewter color backplates have nice simple accents, but the more restrained design is so typical of the late Deco style, i.e. more like Streamline Art Deco.
The shades are a nice embossed design glass, with semi-opaque and clear glass, and a small pattern running along the top border. They match the straight line ambiance of the fixtures quite well. They are in excellent condition.
Measurements:
* Height: 9"
* Width: 6 ¾" (including the shade)
* Projection: 8" from the wall into the room.
Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. These sconces have been completely re-wired with new sockets and all new wire in our UL listed workshop. Please note that the switches for these lights are directly below the shades. They are part of the socket, and make an integral part of the light. They are a rotary style Deco switch used from about 1910 onward.
$385.00 for the complete re-wired, UL approved pair of sconces...plus careful packaging and shipping.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

American Art Deco STREAMLINE Sconces by Virden
Cast 1939 signed Art Deco sconces that are in the Virden catalog #39 (i.e. 1939 as the catalog number reflected the year it was published). These sconces were item 6001 from the Carleton Series. Virden bragged: Underwriters Approved.
The shades have the typical Streamline concentric rings, which are so very iconic of Streamline design. The shade colors are all original, and near mint.
The metal finish is pewter, and there is a touch of roughness to the frames...not serious...but as cast, and 1930s produced.
Measurements:
* Height: 7 ½" from the top of the shade to the bottom of the metal backplate.
* Width: 7" (widest)
* Projection: 4" from the wall into the room.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs were installed. The sconces have a rotary switch for on and off. Each sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
Price: $935.00 for the pair, plus careful packing and shipping.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Antique Art Deco 6 Light Top-of-the-Line Chandelier with Original Shades
Circa 1934 - 1936, this chandelier was the best from the line by having six shades.
The finish is pewter finished white metal, which was most common at the time, with a few darkened accents.
The detail of the 5 amber slip shades is nice. The bottom shade appears a little big, but matches quite nicely. As normal...the color of the bottom shade is just a touch different than the slip shades...but that is quite typical.
This chandelier has been totally rewired in our UL shop, with high grade sockets and new central lead wire. Sockets are UL approved for up to 100 watts each of incandescent bulbs so...up to 500 total incandescent watts for the outside slip shades. There is one socket for each slip shade, and a socket for the bottom disk that takes a smaller bulb.
Measurements:
* Height: 24" tall with the chain link as shown.
* Diameter: 19"
Overall hang height can be increased by adding more chain. Please contact us for pricing.
Comes complete, and ready to hang.
Price: $1,045.00 plus careful packaging and shipping.
