Circa 1780 Chinese Export Pair of Fabulous Demitasse Cups with theme of a bird in a tree with roses and fabulous blue as part of this well gilded theme. These fabulous decorated cups are 2 1/2" in height and the top opening is 2 1/8". Very Good Condition and nicely painted scene of a bird and a rose in a cartouche with a beautiful blue color of maybe a serpent engulfed in the midst.   « Less

Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Sauce Tureen with a matched Rose Mandarin Underplate. This rose medallion sauce tureen is in good condition with matching cover. The top has a nice gilded mushroom Finial/Cover. The tureen itself has nice double strapped gilded handles. The tureen measures 8 1/2" from handle to handle and 5 1/2" X 4 1/2" inside dimension opening at the top. Good overall Condition with nice alternating panels of people in court scenes. The rose mandarin underplate is a marriage as it did not originally come with the tureen. The size matches perfectly. The dimension of the underplate is 8 1/4" X 6 1/2". It is good mandarin quality with a nice mandarin court scene with five ladies. Nice quality colors of blue, yellow and green with gold in the lady's hair. The border of the underplate is with greenery, roses and butterflies. There are two nicks to the side of the underplate which we are having restored. A very rare combination with a underplate at a reasonable price.   « Less

Circa 1920 Chinese Export Pair of Rooster Shallow Soup Plates 8 1/2" in Diameter and 1 1/2" in Depth. One of these soups has a rim chip that is repaired and the other has two hairline from middle of plate to the rim. Fresh out of a house that had several pieces of this rare pattern. Even though the plates have the made in china mark which dates the pieces to C. 1920, these soup plates have the quality of a earlier manufacture.   « Less

Even though these chargers are 20TH Century (Circa 1920)with the "Made" In China Mark they are absolutely fantastic. We very rarely buy 20th century chinese export porcelain but these chargers along with two bowls and set of eight soup plates were something that I could not turn down. This listing is just for the Pair of 16 1/4" Chargers. Excellent Condition. Very Decorative and would look great on a wall. This pattern is very hard to find as it was not manufactured in quanities like rose medallion,rose mandarin and blue canton. They are not only 16 1/4" in diameter but they are 2 3/4" in depth. For being 20th Century Chinese Export Porcelain the quality is very good. I am only saying they are 20th Century because of the "Made In China" mark on the back of the pieces. If that mark was not there I definetely would have dated them from C.1850-1870.   « Less

Circa 1840-1875 Chinese Export Paneled Scalloped Pitcher measuring 6" in height to the tip of spout and 6 1/4" from spout to the top highest part of handle. This is a form that we have had in rose medallion several times and we have seen in canton and fitzhugh. But this pattern is so different than those and is really beautiful. It is absolutely fabulous. Decorated in a underglaze Yellow with greenery and pink roses and other flowers with birds and butterflies. Other colors in the mix are turquuoise. The molded spout and the rim at the top are nicely gilded.   « Less

C. 1750 Chinese Export Famille Rose Tankard dating from the MID-18TH Century. Measures 5" in height and a top opening of 3 1/2" This attractive Bell-Shaped Mug is often referred to as Famille Rose. It has a pattern of rocks, a pheasant and peonies. Appears to be in Very Good Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Inside the top left of the handle is a tiny brown spot which happened during the making, but is hardly noticeable.   « Less

Central Theme of this Plate are six ladies in a court yard scenr. Gold in hair with many other bright colors adding to it's beauty.
