This is an amazing antique brass pendant light fixture with its original, etched vaseline glass shade, dating from the early 1900’s. It begins with an understated brass canopy, coming down in three chains to curled arms which support the chandelier body. The urn-shaped brass body features an intricately cast crest on each side, ornamented with volutes, acanthus, and palmettes. The bottom of the fixture finishes in a long finial accented with stylized foliate detail. The vaseline glass shade, in its characteristic light yellow color, rests in the top of the chandelier body, flaring out to a ruffled edge. The shade features a beautiful, acid-etched floral design. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is in very good antique condition with a tiny chip on the rim (pictured), which is not visible unless the shade is removed from the fixture. The light has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a fabulous antique Arts & Crafts brass pendant light with textured milk glass and a marvelous patina. Dating from the early 1900’s, the lantern is crowned with a brass diamond-shaped finial, coming down to a four-sided roof. The sides of the lantern are formed by four rectangular panels of glass, each crossed by a horizontal brass band that intersects with a vertical band coming down from the top of the lantern. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation, and it can be used as either an interior or exterior light. This is a fabulous antique Spanish Revival three-light pendant in its original polychrome finish with red, gold, and green accents. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier begins with an intricately cast finial composed of volutes with acanthus detail. Three bands, curled at the ends and accented with red and gold florets, form a lantern-shaped body, in which rest three foliate bobeches. In front of each bobeche is a pair of volutes, between which rises a stylized plant with three red berries. The pendant finishes in an inverted dome adorned with acanthus appliqués and a dangling palmette finial with polychrome accents. This light fixture is in excellent condition. Beginning with a diamond-shaped finial with a quatrefoil cutout, each lantern-style pendant comes down into six panels, each crowned with a triangular arch with a magnificent trefoil design. The base of each panel is finished in a geometric “X” design surrounded by a simple border. The lanterns have been fitted with seedy glass, giving them a beautiful visual texture.
