American Victorian black walnut pier mirror c1865 in fine original condition. Measures 100 inches to the top of the crest, 42 inches wide overall, 4.75 inches wide at the sides, and 2.5 inches deep. Made from the finest matching solid American black walnut with burl walnut veneers and gilt incised accents. It is rare to find a mirror from this period in such pristine condition. Shipping extra. Hendryx adjustable brass birdcage on stand c1905. Excellent original condition. There is one small one inch line crack in the mirror which is held by a signed Hendryx brass screw (one of the pictures shows this) and some minor wear to the removable tray. Measures 69 inches high with a 23 inches wide hoop. The birdcage itself measures 17 inches high, 10 deep and 14 inches across.   « Less

Unusual, beautiful, antique English hall stand, imported from England and dating back to the late Victorian period C.1890. This piece just oozes pure English country elegance with its hand carved floral crown, light bamboo accent beading and brass hardware. There are 3 brass rails across the top with 4 hooks and cathedral style beveled mirrors to the front with carved channeled framework. Below the central long mirror there is a small shelf which houses a small single drawer with a decorative brass knob and yet more carved channeling to the drawer front. The bow front has 2 long, slender turned legs terminating in cute bun feet with a central lower shelf. On each side of the base you will find the original tin drip tray liners combined with an upper brass rail which was, and still is, used as an umbrella stand. Mounted on each side of the mirrors you will find 2 large decorative brass hooks to hang scarves and hats. This fabulous piece is constructed from solid oak and has developed a wonderful golden aged patina. There is some wear to the brass and mirrors and some minor wear throughout the rest which, in a piece like this, only adds to its character and charm. Charming Victorian cast iron dog canes, walking sticks, and umbrella stand circa 1875 with rabbit insert. The back brace is a flat relief seated dog, perhaps a wolfhound, with a pair of crossed walking sticks behind him. One stick has a whippet's head handle and the other has a horse's head handle. Measures 89 inches wide, 13 inches deep at the top, 6 inches deep at the bottom, and 18.25 inches high. There are four solid oak slats on the top. This is a first quality piece made by a master blacksmith. It is extremely strong and weighs 90 lbs.
