A marvelous pair of antique cast bronze hinges in P. & F. Corbin’s “Diagonal” pattern, dating from the 1890’s, with ball finials. These 5” hinges feature a flowing floral design crossed with a diagonal band and bordered with leaves. The hinges are in very good antique condition with some very minor wear. Each hinge measures 4-7/8” wide overall, 4-15/16” tall, and 6-1/4” tall overall (from finial to finial). We also have a slightly different pair of cast bronze hinges in this pattern, item # NHP18-RW. A remarkable set of three antique cast bronze hinges with hard-to-find decorative steeple finials, dating from the 1880’s. These 4” hinges feature an unusual allover design of plants and leaves, with matching ornamentation on the knuckles and the back of each hinge. The hinges are in good antique condition with some wear to the knuckles and one finial. Each hinge measures 4” wide overall, 4” tall, and 6-3/8” tall overall (from finial to finial). An elegant antique bronze entry doorknob set in P. & F. Corbin’s “Holland” pattern, c. 1905. The doorknobs feature a graceful design of volutes and acanthus leaves with beading; the doorplates are ornamented with a beaded oval at the top and bottom, surrounded by leaves and scrolls with beading throughout. This entry set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, a mortise lock, and two doorplates. The doorknobs are 2-1/4” in diameter and 2” deep. The lock has an approx. 2-5/8” backset, and its faceplate is 1” by 6-3/4”, with a lock body approx. 3-1/2” by 4-1/2”. A lovely pair of antique 3.5-inch cast iron hinges with steeple finials, dating from the 1880’s. Each hinge features a fleur-de-lis flanked by graceful vine-like designs. The center of the hinge features an interlaced pattern, accented with dots, that runs from finial to finial and is repeated on the back of the hinge (pictured). A very unusual antique oval doorknob by Maison Fontaine, Paris, with a coordinating lever on the other side. Russell & Erwin, in 1905, was the sole distributor of Maison Fontaine hardware in the United States. The oval doorknob features a flower with a beaded border; the handle opposite is ornamented with finely cast acanthus leaves. This cast bronze door knob set was salvaged from Boxwood, the late Sam Fleming's home in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Fleming was the president of Third National Bank and president of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees. The oval knob is 2-1/4" long, 2-1/4" wide, and 2-1/4" deep; the lever is 4" long and approx. 2-1/4" deep. NDK68-RW   « Less

An unusual antique cast bronze door hardware set, dating from the late 1800’s, with a pair of levers and matching escutcheons on a threaded spindle. The handles feature a striking sunburst design with leaf accents, and the matching roses feature the same sunburst design as the levers. This cast bronze door knob set was salvage from Boxwood, the late Sam Fleming’s home in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Fleming was the president of Third National Bank and president of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees.
