Twisted lobe shape to this large crystal Victorian globular scent bottle - same style of pattern on sterling silver lid, which is hallmarked for Birmingham (England) 1889. Maker's mark is for John Grinsell & Sons. The screw cap is gilded inside, and there is an internal stopper in a silver collar. This is a bottle of excellent quality and beautiful design. It measures 12.5 cm high and 9.7 cm diameter. Very good condition - minor faults are a tiny dents in the cap sides (but the pattern and reflections makes these less noticeable) and a few ripples in the collar around the stopper. Underneath the base is wear to the crystal, which is a true sign of age. (Not seen from above).

This gorgeous perfume bottle is of heavy lavender, eggplant glass. beautifully etched stem flowers, monumental design. topped stylish dazzling pink & lavender crystals, over the brass hardware. the atomizer isn't working, and the balloon is cut off. it is decorating piece. excellent body work, aged, imperfect corner base, noted on the images. added portion crystal DIY. i'd like to call it Art Glass !

Antique Edwardian silver-topped vanity jar. Full British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901, maker's mark is JW for J.Wilmot. Round jar, crystal with cut design and central starburst underneath. The sterling silver top is embossed with swirling lobed scrolls, and a clear centre panel (blank) where owner's initials can be engraved. Little jar measures 5.8 cm high and 7 cm diameter. Excellent condition - you can see the remains of gilding inside the lid. « Less
